I have been asked the question about “playing”, so I will answer it here.
I try not to judge others, but I have come to understand, for me anyway, that the “play” is no longer fulfilling if it is not connected in a much deeper way. I find, for me, a deeper connection can only be found in a relationship. A relationship doesn’t come pre-assembled; it has to be built from the ground up. To last it has to be built on a foundation of honesty, trust and commitment by both. It takes time and patience, it doesn’t happen overnight. I need to, want to, get to know you first. |

Why do some say they want you to get to ?know? them, for the person they are, yet reveal little? You?re left to interpret a word here; a statement there, you try to stitch together the bits and pieces to see the inner them, the real person they are. Bits and pieces don't make a whole. Try to dig for more and you're "annoying and bugging". You have to ask yourself, do they actually want to be ?known? for who they really are?
