An old and very dear friend and I have been discussing building up a different aspect of her portfolio with a one day photo shoot at her studio and around town if needed.

Although, this will not necessarily be about rope or kink as her photographic eye is much broader. I will be doing some rigging and rope work as needed to create the images we have been discussing.

In her words;

?Something ethereal, maybe some thin white clothes (dress/skirt), that way we can do lots of desaturation in post process, we should also do some nudes, maybe someone with lots of body art...

            ?.or we could put some body art on them...oh, do you know anyone that is good with crazy make-up?  I always have in mind to do some shots with someone with an almost white face, and then spray some water on them so the white paint will run a bit...

            ...then we should do some really dark stuff, black clothes, dark make-up, crazy hair, maybe even a bit dirty?

Potential male or female models should send me an email, I can provide interested parties examples of her work and coordinate details.

An individual who would like to help with some of the other creative aspects should also drop me an email (hair, makeup, etc).

We have a larger stage area with all the favorites returning including corporal play, electric play with violet wands, hot wax and rope.

The larger area and the club management have also allowed Guilty Pleasures to bring and set up a FIRE PLAY area and a 15 FOOT HIGH SUSPENSION POINT for me to rig the willing in to an Angel of the Catacombs.

Guilty Pleasures @ Trauma - Rope Suspensions, Electric Play, and More

Guilty Pleasures, the Outland's Live and Interactive BDSM Stage Show, will be at Trauma OCT 30th at the Bar of Modern Art (BoMA) in Columbus, Ohio

We are pulling out all the stops and bring all of our gear including Violet Wands for electric play and every corporal toy we can load in the truck.

The show's newest creation is a suspension frame built by Joe and Thesser for the expressed purpose of allowing Thesser to perform rope suspensions at any venue.

We will be located on the second floor loft, over looking the main dance floor. Stop by and sign up so we can ensure everyone can have a turn and fun.

As always any one is allowed to use our gear for a scene in our area or have one of our crew be a top for a scene involving you.

I have been offered and accepted the wonderful opportunity to teach two late night adult panels at Marcon 43 this year.

Friday night will be about electric play with the violet wand. Safety considerations to where you can find one with out breaking the bank will be covered.

Saturday had to have a very tongue-in-cheek title of ?Macramé you can use on your partner? in honor of the book with a similar name. I guess they had issues with using the word ?Bondage? or ?Shibari? in their programming materials.

Any rate, it will be 101-102 rope floor work class. If time allows, I should be able to cover a few single column, double column and various rope harness/dress techniques. Visual ascetics, usability, and the chance to tie them at the class are at the heart of this course. So bring some 3/8 or 5/8 rope and enjoy the chance to learn.

Marcon membership is required to attend either class, which also includes access to AIS party and the rest of the ?Fantasy and Science Fiction? program offerings during the weekend.

I was just recently asked some great questions about the Stage Show at Outland.  
   
?It sounds like there is so much going on it would be difficult to monitor all of the going ons with out proper staffing. Staffing can run at high financial costs. What about state laws and regulations? Are there any kind of consent forms or Id checking.?

The Club is 18 and over, 18 to 20 pay a higher cover charge. Everyone must show an ID to enter the Club.  
   
The Stage Show is there as a partnership with the Outland Night Club but owned and managed separately from the club owner and their staff that make up the bouncers, DJs, Bartenders, etc.  
   
The Outland and the Stage Show enjoy the benefits of this relationship because it gives the club a spectacle and gives us a public place to teach and use the technical practices of BDSM.    
   
All of the Show staff members are volunteers, several of which are well known members of the local BDSM community. Each staff members has chosen to take the time to offer their services to provide scenes for those who wish to try or may not have another outlet to enjoy BDSM.

The Show staff members are checked out on the gear used on the stage and trained to the level of safety that is set by the stage show rules. I feel these rules are generally similar to or above the level you would see at the best public play parties.  
   
Most of the scenes preformed on stage are of a 101 type nature and no full nudity is allowed. Although the intensity of a scene my increase depending on how well the Show staff knows the participant. Grant the types of play may seem basic to an experienced player in the BDSM scene. Although, it is a great gateway to helping people find there feet in the community.  
   
Meaning, advance scene play that may be questionable by state or local laws is avoided including play piercing or anything that may draw blood. Although we do perform electric play with the Violate Wand, Corporal punishment with various floggers and paddles, No Single Tails/long bull whips, Wax play with wax melted in a potpourri pot because of laws against open flames in the Club, Shabari and other styles of rope play, and recently I have started suspension play at the club on select past participants of the show who I know on some level and have played with previously in a scene involving rope.  
   
Further more the least amount of clothing a participant can strip down to is a thong and a form of nipple covering made from electrical or athletic tape.  These clothing rules are enforced on both men and women. Strictly following these rules keeps us and the club out of hot water with the public indecency laws.  
   
Side note, I have laughed many of time watching men rip the nipple tape off from underneath their shirt after a scene.  
   
We also allow couples to sign up and work on each other, under the careful monitoring of one of the Show staff. We run this type of scene as educational experiences for the couple so they may try there hand at items they may not have access to such as the Violate wand for example.  
   
Finally yes there is a waiver/consent to participate as apart of the ?live interactive show?. It doubles as the sign up list so that scenes run in the order that the persons participating signed up.
