I'm always looking for friends, playmates, and people to share ideas and experiences with.
I'm sort of a geek. I like geeky things and geeky people. I'm creative and crafty. I enjoy making new toys over buying them, whenever possible.
I'm one of the few people you will meet who has been in two branches of service (Army, then Navy). I switched due to a bleak outlook I was developing on my future, and a desire to do something that engaged my brain in a different way. When I drink, I tend to tell what we call 'sea stories'.
10 years in the Navy taught me a thing or two about knots and rope. I enjoy the harsh feel of rope against a sub's soft skin. I'm still learning, and always on the lookout for activity partners to expand my practical knowledge of this area.
I've been to Asia, Europe, Africa, Central America, and the Middle East. Some of the things I've seen while there lead me to a real appreciation of the freedoms, liberty, and luxury we have here. I love to meet new people, see new cultures, explore new places, and sample new cuisine.
As a soldier, then a sailor, (I went from the Army to the Navy to get a better education), and in my civilian professional life, a cycle of a systematic approach to training has served me well. The process is cyclical and iterative, with feedback from the results used to improve the process.
I'm college educated, having gotten my most recent (and relevant) degree after leaving the military. I worked through a STEM degree while working rotating shift work (nights holidays, and weekends baby).
I'm experienced. I started down this path in 1998. Yes, this means that I have more experience in kink and BDSM than some of my partners have years of life. I have a breadth of knowledge and experience, and significant depth in certain areas. No, I don't know everything, and I love learning new things. Learning is better when done together.
I see the privileges of being a Master/Do, but also understand the responsibilities. This is not just a fantasy to me, I live this life every day.
