they say that the difference between a candle and raging fire isn't the quality of light but the length of time it burns. a candle while lesser in intensity can burn for hrs because it is slow to start and consistant. a raging fire starts quickly, burns brightly, and fades suddenly.
i find that for too long i've tried to make a raging fire fill the need of a simple candle. so i am taking time to look at the spark within me and see if i cannot redirect the heat.
i look forward to resuming my journey when i am more confident in myself and what i have to offer as a slave. |
