I've been in and out of kink land for a good many years now and I'd like to think I've learned some lessons along the way.
1. Many kinky people are nuts and not massively capable of sustaining healthy stable involvements.
2. I am kinky people and AM capable of sustaining healthy, stable involvements.
3. Everyone on a site like this is kinky, goes without saying doesn't it. What separates us is the ability to do that with some thought, grace, intellect, sanity, fun and common bloody sense.
4. I AM able to do this with some thought, grace, intellect, sanity, fun and common bloody sense.
5. Many people here have no interest in a person beyond their kinks.
6. Unless I am pretty damn interested in a person beyond their kinks then I have no interest in getting kinky with them.
I happen to be a pretty normal human being in most aspects who also happens to be sexually dominant, adventurous, kinky as hell experienced and intelligent enough to know how to make it fun, intense, exciting and a positive experience all round.
I'm educated, intelligent,, passionate, a lover of fine food and wine and the arts, politically and socially aware, and know when and how to take control without being crass or inappropriate. My list of kinks and fetishes after nearly twenty years of doing this stuff is pretty long, but I prefer to concentrate on finding common ground with a submissive in terms of sanity, having a brain and a sense of humour and being genuine about wanting ideally to pursue a dicreet involvement in the real world as opposed to playing out fantasies online.
That said I have no problem at all inputting time and effort and patience into getting to know someone without pestering or rushing them for more than they feel comfortable with in initial exchanges. Happy to swap a picture in private but I do not post one on the site due to the nature of my work etc.
