You are looking for someone for whom language is art. You are looking for a friend, a lover, and someone to serve. You want to see the world - to taste it and suck deeply from it in a frenzy. You want to choose the wayward path, away from the rut an comfort of the familiar. You want adventure, in all it's forms - in the kitchen, the airport, the great outdoors, or the bedroom. You want to live life, and tell stories that sound like fiction, "Remember that funny man in Vienna? The one with the chicken for a bride?"

You are wickedly funny. Deliciously vibrant. Irreverent. You like Orange Marmalade and Lemon Curd on croissants. You are independent and comfortable and yet Maslow would say you are lacking. You swoon to poetry and music in the same way. You want to complete another.

You think everything I've said here is redundant.

I am a renaissance man who loves the arts and theater and fast cars and some sport. I love great films, and I'm okay with the occasional bad movie. I believe that there are still great movies being made today, though they aren't ones that get much of an audience. Some of my recent favorites are 500 Days of Summer, Dan in Real Life, Stranger Than Fiction, and Bottle Shock. I am also a sucker for French period pieces, like Tous les Matins du Monde and Cyrano de Bergerac.

I read everything I can find. From fiction to science to mathematical theory and biographies. Every bit of knowledge is useful in this fast changing world. I believe we can find the meaning of life through knowledge, so I usually fall onto the left side of the political spectrum. I want my leaders to be smarter than I am. I want to believe.

This life is not a race to the end. It's not a sprint to see who can get the most, the fastest, and then expire. It is a journey. We should stroll. Stop to see the small, exquisite things on the side of the road.
