About Thebandersquatch
I'm relatively new to this lifestyle, having only been active in the community for about a year, and exploring on my own for about two years before that. I'm still learning, exploring, and finding my path. I have a beautiful, loving, collared wife with whom I share an open, poly-leaning household.
About me: I hold a BA in English, and am working on a BS in Business/IT. I tend towards the nerdier end of the spectrum with a wife variety of creative interests and hobbies. I love to read, and perpetually need more room for my growing library. I write regularly. Mostly non-fiction essays, but also poetry and speculative short fiction. In between those, I build my own computers, provide tech support for friends and family, revel in a variety of tabletop games, and spend time with Buffy, The Doctor, and my Jedi posse.
As a Dom, I tend towards the sensual side. I prefer to have obedience because my sub wants to please me rather than out of fear of punishment. I am very logically driven and introverted, and tend to consider emotions secondary to rational concerns. That doesn't make me Spock, but it does mean I prefer someone who isn't primarily driven by emotions or who needs constant attention.
I'm currently learning rope bondage, and while I know a handfull of tricks, I'm nowhere near ready to attempt suspension. I'm also exploring primal play. It's a very new concept to me, and I won't pretend to understand it yet. I do know I identify more with the feline side of the coin than the canine, though, and I enjoy biting immensely.
What I'm looking for: Friends are always welcome, and I would love to find a mentor. On the other side of things, I would very much like to meet a strong, intelligent woman for a play partner or FWB relationship that may lead to her becoming a secondary in our fledgling poly household. |
