I became interested in this lifestyle in the 80's by reading several popular books: Story of O, the Gor series, The Chateau, and the Sleeping Beauty Series. I was really drawn to this lifestyle, but I didn't know how to find out about participating.
I found a few people that put on exhibitions and clubs that held fetish nights. It was interesting, and I started playing a little. My ex was not very interested, so I was limited by that.
I am now learning about this lifestyle, and I decided to get into it seriously in 2006. I completed the Austin Mentor's Program, a Dominant education program in Austin. The program was great; it teaches tolerance, safety, psychology, techniques, and to be an asset to your local community.
I have dated and played with a few sub ladies and enjoyed it.
I do enjoy meeting people interested in BDSM and would like to meet some play partners.
