About Talthas
I'm a medical student from the South spending the winter in New York. I'm looking for interesting, intelligent, warm and friendly people I can meet with and enjoy getting to know better so my stay will be a bit more entertaining. I'm an avid bookworm, with tastes that tend toward high fantasy and philosophy, and I love experiencing new things and expanding my horizons. I am looking for a person with a similar temperament and no serious attachment to a strictly sexual or D/s relationship but an open mind to whatever might happen. Friends-only is a perfectly acceptable paradigm to me, but I don't like to put my relationships with others into boxes... what comes, comes, and what doesn't... doesn't.
On the kink end of things, I have many years of experience with online D/s and several years of experience with RL BDSM. I enjoy the psychological aspects of BDSM and the new avenues it opens up to establish trust and intimacy with partners.
I am not particularly interested in being highly dominant or submissive myself, having experienced both ends of the spectrum as much as I really need to in order to satisfy my curiosity. My taste for the BDSM scene runs mainly toward light kink as "icing" on top of a mostly vanilla relationship.
