More than neglected, this journal must feel abandoned after years of no updates. i've tended to follow Mr Ed's advice, and not speak unless i've got something to say!
i'm not actively looking for a Domme, so i skim or skip over most profiles. Today i read a compelling profile, one that struck me with its clarity & sincerity. A breath of fresh air amidst the laundry lists of fetishes. Thank You! |

Perfect weather for skiing last month, yay. Going into the next one I'm contending with too much to do, but i'll find time to put aside work and get out on the slopes.
Sometimes looking out at the snow and thinking of all this 'stuff,' I can't help but have a brighter mood.

Wondering . . . do i need new glasses, or perhaps a new monitor? i struggle to read profiles, particularly ones with black text on a dark background.
Is it a test? Require the inquirer to work for those tantalizing tidbits of information? Perhaps an excuse for the clueless to send messages without reading the profile at all?
Turning up the brightness on my monitor, i'll keep reading.

Christmas Day has passed ... may i say "Happy Holidays" now?
Too often this season, a greeting of "Happy Holidays" elicited an almost huffy response of "Merry Christmas." There may be a legitimate concern that some would like to "sanitize the season" and remove any reference to religion. Yet the two phrases have never been interchangable. "Happy Holidays" is a more inclusive greeting . . . more inclusive of faiths, and more inclusive of dates.
Though the winter solstice and Christmas Day have passed, by my count we still have 11 more days of Christmas, 7 more nights of Hanukkah, Kwanzza, New Years, and a host of other celebrations ahead. May You and Yours find joy and peace in this holiday season.
