I am mostly looking for FRIENDS, though there's always the potential that there'll be a spark. I'd prefer to talk to people nearer to my own age, though on occasion it is fun to talk to someone younger or older. I am in a stable, reasonably-happy relationship and have been in it for more than five years. It would take something very special for me to be interested in someone else, and even then my boy would be along for the ride as well.

I used to read a metric fuckton of fanfic, but since I've been so long without internet it's not as vital to my survival as it once was.
I also listen to music. A lot. I usually listen to classic rock but I have been known to listen to more pop-like music, as well as classical and (newly-added) jazz.
I am a licensed massage therapist and a guaranteed way to royally piss me off is to call a member of the profession a 'masseuse' in all seriousness. Even if the person's joking it still makes the urge to beat them over the head with my Fundamentals book difficult to ignore.

The beginner/average/expert thing: When it's labeled something, that means that I've got a bit of experience in it, depending on what I label it (for example, when I say I'm a beginner in knifeplay that means I've tried it before but not got much actual experience and talent in it). And I can say that, while I'm not actually an expert in giving massages I'm better than the average person due to the simple fact that I went to school for it and have to take continuing education classes for my profession.

Updated my profile again. It would really be nice if more people actually, y'know, used their spell check. It's there for many reasons, and one of the reasons is to prevent you from looking stupid. It's not that difficult to add an apostrophe to 'im' or 'doesnt' or similar. And it's so simple to make sure your -ing words are actually spelled -ing rather than -gin or -ign.
Okay, I think I'm done bitching about grammar and spelling.
Ah, hell, who am I fooling? I'll never be done. And I doubt I'll stop being disappointed by good profiles with bad spelling.
