The profile is a work in progress.

I chat here sometimes and like reading the forums so I figured it was time to finally put up a profile of my own.

I should point out that I'm not actively searching for a Dom or Domme at this time. While the idea isn't unappealing, I'm not in any big rush. I got out of a relationship not an incredibly long time ago and I'm not into casual flings. I'm a quality over quantity kind of girl and am a believer in *gasp* standards and have a strong preference for older as opposed to closer to my age.

My interests are varied and I'm very active, the net is my favorite defense against my regular insomnia. As the nick suggests I'm a big sports girl and I'll be upfront about something - if you want a girl that's going to always be in skirts and dresses then you ought to keep looking since I'm not the girl for you.

Feel free to say hi if you see me online. And if you do the message thing and it goes to bulk then sorry charlie (that's where the 20-something guys end up).

What's the deal with so-called Doms, and I say so-called for a really good reason, that get really pissy and cranky when you tell them you're not interested?
I had a conversation the other night where I was accused of being condescending and arrogant because I told the guy that I wished him good luck in his search.  I had never been rude or anything but somehow being polite and friendly is considered a mean gesture.
Patronizing and stodgy so-called Doms really need to get over themselves.  They're always the ones that complain that nobody has manners anymore but they lack any themselves.
But don't worry guys, I don't lump you all in together.  I know that there are always good guys out there and I've got a few friends around here that prove that everytime I talk to 'em.  :)

I've noticed that there are a lot of types of Dom/mes out there but a lot of them fall into two separate categories.  I like to think of it as my puppy theory.

Kids want to get a puppy because they're cute and fun to play with.  But kids never want to really take responsibility for the puppy, they don't want to have to take it for walks, feed it, train it, etc.  For them it's all about immediate gratification and pretty soon the puppy becomes mom and dad's dog.

Adults get a puppy but understand the responsibilities that go with have one.  They understand that sometimes you have to get up at 5am to walk it, that you have to put in time and effort to train it, and basically that playing with the puppy is only part of the relationship.

Many Dom/mes seem to fall into that first category and it sucks for the cool ones out there that end up with the fallout of all that immaturity.

And to the cool cowboy with the typing chimps that inspired me to throw my theory in here, this  is for you.
