Hiatus Over for Now

It seems that, for the time being, things have quieted down concerning my grandmother. Instead of purging her belongings, we've found it prudent to allow her to continue living in her apartment under Hospice care, which means that there will be much less for my family to do at present.

On an unrelated note, my classes are going well and over this coming weekend, I'll be traveling with my family to the University of Memphis to tour their campus as they are at the top of my list of prospective graduate schools.

I'm still searching for the sub of my dreams and wading through quite a bit of spam and barely coherent messages. I certainly wish someone would take the time to send me a well-written letter with more than one or two sentences. Then again, I also wish people actually took the time to read my profile and wouldn't assume that I'm agreeing to be their Dom/Daddy just because I have a chat or two with them, but I suppose that's just all it is: wishful thinking.

Ah well~ Here's hoping everyone's having a lovely holiday season!

Important Message:


To those of you that have read my profile or messaged me recently, please note that from today forward, I will be on hiatus from any sort of communication. Due to a combination of crippling emotional distress and a string family emergencies, I feel that I am not able to adequately give anyone the sufficient time or attention needed to build any sort of relationship, platonic or otherwise. Once things have straightened themselves out, I will begin checking this site and answering my mail on a more regular basis, but that simply will not be the case for at least a month or so.


For those of you who are curious, I will divulge that my grandmother (my last remaining grandparent) has only been given about 6 months to live, and as such, my family and I are making haste to be rid of most of her belongings (as she's lived independently in an apartment and cannot take them with her to a nursing home) before the end of the month, as well as taking care of her final affairs. This will be a long and arduous process, and combined with work and school, I will not have much time or energy to devote to anyone outside of my family.


I look forward to getting back in touch with everyone as soon as all of this is over. Until then, blessed be, everyone.

I know it's been ages since I've even properly checked this site and I apologize to those I've fallen out of contact with. Quite a lot has cropped up into my personal life: my academic pursuits being a leading cause of absence. That said, once I've gotten things settled within the next few weeks, I will make every effort to regularly check my messages on this account again and renew correspondence.

My hiatus is over and I'll be checking my messages more frequently again. Finals went well and now I've got a two week break before I begin the Fall semester.

I've been doing quite a bit of dieting over the past month or so and I've lost around 13 lbs. I hope to continue on and hit my first goal weight (about 27 lbs away) in the next few months and keep working my way down.

Going to legally change my name in the next few weeks as well. Looking forward to having a proper male name on my official documentation.

For the next two weeks, I may be taking a hiatus from responding to any messages sent to me. Though I may read them, due to summer term finals approaching, I may not find the time to answer any messages right away. I ask that you please not take this as my ignoring you or behaving rudely; I prefer to plan out my responses carefully and during this time, I may not have the chance to.

Let's see...what's gone on that's worth writing about? Well, as of Tuesday, I'll have had my septum pierced for 3 weeks. It's healed up very nicely and yesterday I had a circular barbell put in to replace my retainer (though, it's probably going to be a pain in the ass to change before work every day). Once I get some money saved up (maybe 4 months from now due to some jackassery at the college with my tuition and federal aid) I'll purchase some stainless steel tusks to use and maybe a new barbell that's internally threaded instead of the cheaper one I had to buy yesterday.

Summer semester starts on Monday and I'm looking forward to taking a lighter class load (6 hours instead of 12). With each passing semester, I grow excited for graduation; my BA will be one step closer to the doctorate I desire.

Tuesday, after class, I'll have to go volunteer to take Gatorade or cupcakes or something to one of our local Little League baseball teams (sponsored by one of the Greek organizations I was inducted into last month). I haven't attended any of their games this season, but before it started, they'd never even won one, so I'm hoping that since this is their last for the year, they'll at least win this one.

Not much else to say at the moment. I survived the Rapture, so I suppose that's good. Haven't found anyone much interested in my profile that doesn't throw up red flags or look entirely fake, which is a bit disappointing. Hell, I had better luck on here when I was a Domme a few years back. Ah well...Maybe I'll find someone.
