Hello!

A Little About Me and My Interests:
I'm a senior college student, currently studying Folklore, and hopefully graduating in the fall. My goal is to move to Japan after school and teach English as a Foreign Language. My Experience/ Kinky Interests:
I have been in and out of the BDSM scene for about 5 years. I love going to munches and play parties (BIG exhibitionist), and have gone to a few conventions in the past too. :) I would definitely like to continue my exploration within the safety of the community.
Kink-wise, I am a bottom and a mid-level masochist. What I'm Looking For:
Due to a bad breakup with my ex-fiance 10 months ago, I find myself uncollared and without play partners. Ok, here's a tiny rant and question:
I will not name names, but I recently received one of the most perplexing messages from a female "domme" here on collarme. Well, not one...SEVERAL...! But that is not the issue.
Now, this lady (around my own age) insisted in her message that I contact her via yahoo messenger, and I thought "what the hell" and sent her an email at the sn she indicated. Within one minute, I got a message back saying that, no, I wasn't supposed to EMAIL her, I was supposed to send a CHAT message. Well, pardon mua... but I did so anyway, assuming that I had received such a quick reply because she was online and possibly on a cell phone (where it would be easier to use chat than email).
So, I sent a chat message. Which is where the weirdness begins.
At first, her responses seemed a little odd and stiff, but maybe she just had that self-centered "I'm a domme and I'm better than you" thing going on. But no... her responses were all AUTOMATED. Like when you're on one of those pop-up sites and it tells you that you can chat with a "live" customer service representative, but it's a computer. But at least those have a feature where it will recognize two or three words in your response and try to send you an appropriate? reply. It's rather clever, and very funny when you try to curse at the "representative" and it recognizes the words and explains to you that it is "only trying to help you" and that you "shouldn't use that type of language." Yes, I have too much time on my hands, thank you for asking. ^_^ But this girl's response program wasn't even that clever, and eventually I got bored of typing "big pulsing, throbbing cock" to every automated comment "she" made.
I didn't even know you could do that with yahoo chat, and personally I find it a little sad. I don't do online play, but I understand that for some people it is stimulating and interesting. But WHY IN THE WORLD would anyone want to play with an auto-response program? And why would you give yourself a profile on collarme just to direct people to a chat line where YOU aren't even participating. It seems a waste of time... Yes, if the submissive takes the bait and swallows it (even though it is blatantly automated) perhaps he or she will have a fun time, but what's the point for the DOM/ME? Why are you even professing to be dominant if you don't participate in the play? How is that fun? Also, I know some onliners use it to get money, but this girl stated in her profile that she didn't want any money, and her "chat" messages supported that claim. So what was the POINT??? I'm completely baffled...
