In its purest form, it’s all about the “Dom” in the Dom/sub-Relationship. It revolves around the Dom’s wants, needs, and desires. The Dom has complete control, or as much as the Dom wishes to demand. The Dom makes all the decisions for both the Dom and sub. The Dom dictates when and how the Dom will enjoy sex. The Dom’s sexual pleasure always comes first. The subs pleasure will come only if the Dom feels the sub has earned it or when the Dom allows the sub the privilege for reasons of the Dom’s own. The Dom controls the finances, and the sub may or may not get a small allowance. The housework, cooking, laundry, shopping, etc. all become the responsibility of the sub. By doing so, the sub can contribute to Dom’s life in a positive way. Anything that the sub can do to remove tedious or unwanted tasks from the Dom is his duty and purpose in life.
