What am amazing year! So much has happened that I could only be penned in a novel. The most notable tho is the collaring of my slave. It has taken many years to find the perfect one but the investment of time has been returned with great dividends.

The snow has finally started to fall and my favorite time of the year is here. This is a time that I like to reflect on my accomplishments from the past 12 months and make plans for the next. The place I choose to do this is Dewy Point, Yosemite over the new years. The last sunset of the year will fall on the face of El Capitan and the first sunrise of the new year will come up over Half Dome. The snow adds it's own expression to the land scape that changes by the hour.

It's a place of wonder and magic and should be seen this time of year.

I couldn't sleep last night so I jumped in my car and headed to Tahoe to watch the sunrise over the lake. After hiking up to Eagle Falls and getting the coffee going, I sat and as a new day was being opened up before me. What a sight. I added a picture to my profile if you want to enjoy it with me.
