People are all different and we need to relate to eachother as distinct individuals not as types or categories. I am amazed at how inflexible the world view of many involved in BDSM can be. They have very clear ideas and if you do not conform to those then you are a "player" in "denial" or "immature and stupid". I am afraid there are a lot of inadequate people in the BDSM world who use BDSM to cover up their insecurities, justify their selfishness or perpetuate abusive behaviour.

Whatever happened to good old fashioned fun? D/s can have laughter! Some people take themselves way too seriously. I prefer talking to people with a sense of humour. :)

I am open to meeting the right person in real life but I am not going to expect or demand that as a first step. I believe friendship should come first and that relationships are precious.

Where are the "old fashioned" girls with home town values and limitless imaginations?

When I?see someone?I am?really interested in how can I attract their attention through the throng of competing voices. Real Life would be easy to signal but online it is a lot harder.

Submission takes different forms with different personalities. I am not interested in a "doormat type". I seek a girl with personality, character and spirit but who knows they need a strong hand. Probably a stronger hand than they have had thus far.

To clarify real time is by no means out of the question with the right girl. I believe relationships are unique and each one should be allowed to develop and take its course. I do not think things should be rushed and do not believe that every relationship should be squeezed into the same template or follow a particular stereotype.

Interesting how many disorganised and disrespectful people you meet online. I wonder if D/s attracts a type of person or if it is a means for some of rationalising dysfunctional behaviour. It seems like finding the right person is like looking for a piece of hay in an enormous pile of needles.
It is not the despair I can't stand - it's the hope. That sliver of light that leads you on believing that possibly, just maybe - there is someone who will appreciate your unique opportunity.
