Many Doms complain that subs/slaves won't respond to thier emails. I would like to offer a view on why from my own experience. I have tried being polite many times and responding with Sorry I don't think we are a match, or no thanks, only to get nasty emails back. Others just won't take no for an answer and want you to justify why not. Having had to deal with some rather nasty emails, I have changed from trying to be polite to cautious.

Just a thought to ponder.

Okay I have now had this issue come up several times and want to address it. I am a submissive not an unpaid hooker. I have been told several times "then you are not submissive" when I state I won't sleep with a man unless there is a long term relationship in place. I won't even do a play session with a Dom unless I have known him for awhile and trust him to be safe.

Being submissive does not mean you will submit for anyone that wants you to. It's a deep feeling inside of wanting to please, serve and give yourself to a Dom. I have always been very selective about my partners and with 25% of the population having some form of STD, I will continue to be so. My goal of being on this site is to find the "one" The Dom that is a good partner and friend outside of D/s and a strong firm Master inside it. So if you are looking for an easy lay, just keep on searching, because it won't be me.

Well I have made it back from California. My ex husband is doing well after surgery and hopefully has a long life ahead of him now. The last 6 months have been very rough on him as he underwent chemo for colon/lympathic cancer. During this time I was on call to help support him emotionally. While we have been separated for over two years we have remained friends. While there is no chance of reconciliation, I was glad I could be there to help. Life is very precious and should be lived everyday. I learned that lesson at 22 with my own bout of cancer, and have tried to make my life count. Being there for a friend costs nothing but is so rewarding when you see the smile, or give the comforting hug. You know you have made a difference at that point.
