About Shadowen
This is who I am, which brings about two choices. Accept that this is who I am, or move along.
Without getting into to many specifics here, I am old enough, and have been doing this sort of thing long enough to know what I want, what I will accept, and what I will not accept. Everything I am is born from all the experiences I have had in my life as they pertain to lifestyle and other things. So I am very set in my ways for the most part, but always open to improvement and re-adjustment within certain limitations.
Male or female is unimportant to me, though admittedly males do tend to have a more difficult time getting my attention which is simply the nature of the beast so to speak. Men and women simply tend to have different mindsets and motivations when it comes to submission, and I have little time for a male that is simply looking out for himself.
There is certainly nothing wrong with just looking for a bit of fun, but at the very least use the correct terminology and be up front about that sort of thing.
That being said I tend to take each person as they come and try not to place preconceived notions onto them and I prefer to have the same in return. I’m not a character from fiction…I think.
What I seek from a person is submission. More towards the slave end of the spectrum than the submission side if that makes any sense. I have little time for those who deem themselves unworthy in any respect. This goes double for any males; degrading references towards yourself simply make me roll my eyes. This isn’t to say I won’t use such terminology towards submissives or slaves as the situation dictates, but that is for me to decide. You need to be secure in yourself and in fact proud and empowered by your role.
Sex is all fine and good, but what I seek is more than that. If I just was interested in getting laid I can very easily handle that myself submissive or not. Sex and the physical aspects of BDSM should not be the whole of who you are or what you seek.
Service in general, and to some extent protocol are important. To me a slave should have more of a use than being just a receptacle for bodily fluids. Yes I can get my own coffee, and am well capable of doing a great many things by myself. But it is always nice to have someone take initiative and do something for me as well.
I seek those who are confident in who and what they are. Those that have personality and can actually carry on a conversation about other things outside of their role in the relationship or the lifestyle in general. Which isn’t to say it’s not an interesting subject, but there is more to listyle and a person’s place in it should be somewhat central to their life, but it should not be the whole of their existence.
I don’t play games and loathe those who feel the need to act out in order to either test things or to get attention. I tend to react very strongly to that sort of thing. If you plan on acting out just to get my attention, don’t expect it to be a pleasant experience or at all what you were looking for.
I’m by far not one to go around chasing after everything I see. I tend to be pickier than most when it comes to that. And who a person is, is a great deal more important than any other aspect of them such as appearance.
If you want to know more just ask. I bite but I do tend to give warning first. I like the look on people’s faces when they know it’s coming but can’t do anything about it. I’m somewhat of a writer, a gamer, RPG fanatic (roleplaying games, and no Warcraft, while fun at times is not roleplaying); science fiction and fantasy fan and I love movies. And I happen to be funny as hell, if a bit irreverent and uncaring about what society finds offensive.
I like talking to people about D/s or M/s or just about anything I’m interested in. Friendships are near always welcome. |
