Hello-
I spent an hour carefully rewriting my profile and did it get saved-nOOOOOOOOOOOO! Damn that pisses me off! So here we go one more time.
Well writing a long thought profile has not proved to be such a good idea in terms of attracting any interest. So I will put the short version up front-if you want to read more then it is there to look at.
I am a easy to get to know alpha male dominant. I am a successful employed professional, own my own home etc. I enjoy a wide variety of interests both in and out of the lifestyle. I have a good sense of humor and try not to take life all too seriously. I live a fairly drama free life and intend on keeping it that way. I am loyal, passionate and value the relationships in my life. I enjoy sports, movies, fine dining or finding that hole in the wall treasure of a dinner or dive. I smoke, drink on occasion and don't do drugs. I have 3 dogs, two cats and consider myself an animal lover.
What I am looking for is a partner both in and out of the lifestyle. The person I am looking would be bright, intelligent, employed and have a fairly well developed idea of what they are looking for in a relationship. I have a preference for someone who enjoys a Daddy/Dom relationship but not in the full sense of someone who considers themselves a full lil. For example I am not looking for someone who enjoys wearing diapers or being bottle feed. I enjoyed being called Daddy but that is more from a sense of being adored and needed by my special one. Where oh were to begin, seems like I have written this profile so many times. Thought I would try and keep it to a few lines and that isn't working and I understand that. So I will attempt to cover the important points and allow for questions to follow.
I consider myself to be a honest straight forward individual. I don't play games with what I say. Truth and honesty are primary to me and are essential to form the foundation of any relationship that I will participate in. I reflect my profile name, selective and Master. I have been active in this lifestyle for over 20 years and at this point in my life I am comfortable with who I am and what I desire.
What I am looking for is a life partner for a very long term relationship. Someone who compliments who I am and that I will do the same for them. Friendship and companionship are important to me. I was married for over 16 years to someone who in the end was no longer my friend. As individuals we all change, the trick is to change together and not apart.
An area that always causes confusion is what one considers a submissive as compared to a slave. For me the real difference is the level of desire and commitment an individual has to serve her One. I believe it has to do with how the individual views their life. For the slave her need to serve is the critical piece that completes her, it makes her whole and understand her place in the world. For a submissive I think it is less so. There is no right or wrong it is how one views themselves, it is simply a matter of who we are.
My preference is to be in a relationship with someone who considers themselves to be a slave or have at a minimum a slaves heart. For me this sets the stage for the most intense dynamic that can occur in a relationship. It bonds two individuals in a way that is not possible in any other type of relationship. It is intense in that the responsibilities of both individuals are demanding and continuous. I have found that many women think that if that become owned they cease to exist as an individual. That is they have no rights, on opinions and become a piece of property that can be used and mistreated. Unfortunately there are many individuals who call themselves Masters and because they have given themselves this name they use it as a club of irresponsibility. A true and proper Master would never treat his most prized possession with cruelty and disrespect. An individual who would do so has no respect for himself and has no understanding of the gift that has been given to him. Submission and on a deeper level the path to ownership is a choice of the one who gives this to her Dom/Master. It is a gift of the heart and cannot to purchased. It is a gift that is to be appreciated and cherished for as long as it is given. It is a wise Master who is ever mindful that while such a gift is given with unconditional love and trust it must never be taken for granted.
A bit about me. Education-have a Masters degree in business and additional course work in public administration. I am currently employed in the mental health field. I enjoy most sports and enjoy playing golf when I get the chance. I have been told that I have an easy going personality and a good sense of humor. To laugh is to appreciate the joy that fills out lives and is essential to a healthy relationship. I am comfortable in a tux but prefer to be in jeans. I believe in progress not perfection. I am fiercely loyal to my friends and those who I love. I forgive but I tend to not forget. I practice random acts of kindness. I will do, to the extent I can, for those who can not do for themselves for by the grace of God there go I. I own my home along with the bank, pay my bills and have no legal issues. I smoke, know I need to quit, drink socially and have no illegal drug habits. I iron my clothes because I believe that how one looks is important. I am a fairly good cook and have been told I should quit my job and open a restaurant. Perhaps if I win the lottery-LOL.
