I am always a bit curious about the people who state they are looking only for friends, but then put wonderfully provocative photos of themselves on the site. Or perhaps I should be thanking them for the photos and leaving this Domme guessing. LOL

Faith in this site has been restored thanks to the many wonderful people I've chatting with recently. One lovely person in particular makes me smile everytime I see her name.

After receiving a polite but bewildering message from a male slave recently I decided to conduct a short survey among some of the women I correspond with on collarme. Here are the original questions and the responses. Thanks to all who helped with this highly unscientific survey.

Do any of you get random (unsolicited) messages from people (primarily men) who live out of country and want to be your slave or sub?

100% of respondents answered "YES"

If you are listed as a subbe or slave, do you get the same type of message from Dom/mes?

100% of respondents answered "YES"; one stated "what the hell would two slaves do? stare at each other?"

Do they make absolutely outrageous offers (or perhaps demands) about what they will do for or to you?

66 2/3% answered "YES"; 33 1/3% answered "NO" but often received rude comments

For those among you who are lesbians, is your sexual preference clearly stated somewhere in your profile?

50% of respondents were lesbians. Of those, 75% "YES", 25% "NO"

Why do some guys on here feel the need to bother me by putting me down? I've got news for you small minded children - I've got more self-esteem in my pinkie finger than you will ever have in your entire body. I could easily stoop to your levels and make rude comments, but guess what I don't have to give myself meaning by demeaning others. Take your insults, look in the mirror and apply them to the person looking back at you.

Over the last few weeks I have had the oppotunity to meet face to face with several people from collarme. We have had wonderful conversations about everything - books, music, travel, photography, coffee, etc. Of course mutual favourite topic is the lifestyle. It is always refreshing to be able to talk about BDSM with a friend with out getting that inital puzzled look of, "you like to do what with (inset the name of your favourite toy here)"?!? We have truly had a grand time pontificating, philsophising, and laughing! So to my new friends, thank you for taking another step, with me, on this journey called life.

It's really sad to be on a website such as this one, that's supposed to contain people with open minds. Yet there are small minded bigots among us. Today, I received a note from one such user. Because of collarme's policies I can't post his name here to warn others that this person may be sending hateful, rude and/or malicous notes. Sadly there is also no way for me to report this person directly to collarme.com so they can do something about it.

Suffice it to say that just because you don't like a person's lifestyle, looks, manners, etc. doesn't mean you need to outright insult the person. Unfortunately I did let my anger over rule my brain and I sent an unkind e-mail back to the person. However, mine wasn't nearly as rude. It simply mentioned what a jerk he is. Perhaps this person is just warped or short sighted. Although the person could just flat out be a rude punk who can only make himself feel better about himself by belittling others. Sounds a lot like grade school to me. Yeah, he's a big man now.... perhaps I should run right over to him and show oodles of respect (insert vomiting sounds here).... oh wait, he's listed as a slave. I don't know any self respecing dom/mes that would ever accept anyone like that as a slave. Hell, I wouldn't allow someone like that to pick up my dog's feces.

When was the last time you climbed up to the highest point you could reach just so you could look around and see the sights? When was the last time you laid on your back and just stared at the sky - day or night? When was the last time you took a moment to contemplate an opinion from someone else's view?

Know what that was? A change of perspective. Try it today.

Over the last several days, I've had the pleasure of talking with several incredible people on this site. Many of them - okay, most of them are submissives or slaves that are truly brats! Hooray for brats! For whatever reason in this BDSM world of mine, I seem to attract and be attracted to brats & SAMs (yes, they are seperate entities) as both friends and lovers.

Right now there are dominants shaking their heads and muttering unkind things about head strong submissives. Why are they doing that? Odds are they don't like a challenge. They simply are looking for a doormat. They most likely don't like having to think very hard and choose to find someone who is willing to just go with the flow.

Brats on the other hand will always keep you on your toes. They will push and push to see how far they can go before ultimate punishment is given. (For many brats, NOT receiving a good spanking is the ultimate punishment.) They allow a dominant to learn just how good a dom/me they actually are. The dominant is required to keep all skills up to a premium level - else the brat become bored which leads to an unsatifactory relationship for both.

For those of you who are brats - keep up the bratty work! There are lots and lots of us out here who LOVE what you do. For those dominants out there who don't like brats - hooray... more for me!

Figured I should start a journal of some kind. For those that have questions for me, just send a note. I'm really enjoying people on here. It's nice meeting people who are genuinely into the lifestyle. It's also equally fun picking out those who are just looking for a quick f---. Those of you who think reading a couple of books and that qualifies you as being "experienced" in the lifestyle - thanks for the chuckles.
