Dominance, the ability to exert control over someone else... if you're not sure if you've got it... than you probably never had it in the first place... that intangible something which means it only takes a look… “that look” to send a shiver down your spine and remind you of your place…

Something else to bear in mind and that is the use of "punishment". There is "punishment" that a sub enjoys such as being restrained, gagged, spanked. There is also "punishment" that she will be averse to such as being made to stand in the corner for long periods for example... Misbehaviour should result in the latter being administered. Dishing out enjoyable "punishment" in these circumstances will simply invite the sub to top from the bottom and provoke a response which she desires... something she will ultimately find unfulfilling.

You step out of line sometimes? Of course you do. But only because you want to be corrected. You want to feel that firm hand putting you back in your place.
