In the writhing darkness you shine so bright
a soul wondering along where the path is slight
and unguarded for not many have worn
the bounderies so clearly for you to follow
Something drew you to this tangled place where
your expectations cant exceed mere suprises
since youve never been to any place so strange
once you decided to leave the average
Noone asked you to leave the path, it will not be easily returned to
seek not new paths if you cant manage to clear some of the undergrowth
your scratches and scars will forever be badges
of wonderful new places where your soul has found a purchase
others dare not follow they are comfortable with the well travelled path
you have found new creatures and pleasures and none to fear
time to embrace fresh opportunites this trail hath
and a moments sweet release shows youve always belonged here
