About saranwrapmummy
Who am I? I have always had the inclination to be in some kind of restraint. Ever since I was little I would find ways to tie or tape myself. I never knew what think about it early on, I would just do it because I enjoyed it. Later I thought I was weird and that there might be something wrong with me. I fought those feelings for much of my adult life. Being a former good catholic boy the guilt built over time.
With the popularity of the internet, groups started forming and online communities grew. I started to explore, all-be-it from a safe anonymous distance that the internet provided. In 2005 I started to follow local groups online and became more and more curious as to what “this” was all about.
For about a year I followed online the events that were going on all around me. With the encouragement of my now ex-wife I finally found the courage to go “out” and meet people at a local club. Wow what an experience! 2006 was a year of change. I started meeting like-minded people and found out that I was not broken. In fact far more people share my needs than I ever imagined.
I started to learn about the “lifestyle” and what it means. I’ve played with wonderful people over the years and I still feel that I am new to all this. I know I have so much more to learn. My journey has brought me to this point. I would love to meet people and continue doing what I love, and that is BDSM with an emphasis on the B. I am initially shy but pretty outgoing once I get to know people. I hope that I can continue to meet people that are like minded and continue to grow.
I want to get to know people whom I can feel comfortable playing with. I could even consider being a switch with the right person. I always thought that the dominant person couldn't wear the "bondage" kind of clothing but come to find out they can! If I were to switch with someone it would be more of a service top to them.
A little bit about me on the vanilla side. I like riding my bicycle and try to bicycle commute to work as often as I can. I really hope in a couple of years to ride across the United States on my bike. I also like hiking and have started to hike 14ers. I don’t smoke and generally try to take care of myself but also enjoy an indulgent dinner or dessert.
