It's that time of year again! The Ren Faire. I look forward to it every year. A reason to wear my leather bodice out in public, free rein to check out all the guys and gals in the costumes, and of course the delicious food. Maybe this year I'll find one that I can keep!

Three years on this site, 0 dates. That can't be right. Are there really no cute geeky guys out there? Sigh.

So here we are, another lonely holiday season ended at last. No more well-intended people asking what my plans are for the weekend. In honest truth the answer was: "Stay at home and watch daytime court television and refuse to change out of my pajamas." But Valentine's Day is just around the corner, that celebration of couple-hood is already present in the stores.
It might not be so bad if there were some way to read the future, if I knew that say in three years, or eight, or ten, my waiting would be over. At least then I could patiently resign myself to waiting and concentrate on other things. It's the unknowing that's tiring.
My friends -- all coupled-up of course -- tell me that the secret is to stop looking. Wonderful, I expect my perfect mate to materalize in my room any day now, like Zeus upon a beam of golden light. I freely admit that I'm not exactly the typical poster to this site; browsing the other posts and the messages I have received over the years are proof enough of that. Still, I want to have my metaphorical feelers out where I think they may find a nibble. I haven't entirely given up hope just yet.

I always think it's kind of funny when people list their "years in the lifestyle" like it's some sort of resume. Well of course you're interested in this lifestyle, that's why we are all on this site. But what else are you interested in? What else makes you who you are?

I suppose I'm due for an update, seeing as the last one was more than two years ago! I'm still searching, though I'm interested in talking mainly to those who want to get to know me for myself first. (A novel concept, surely!)
I do have chat programs, since I'm not sure how reliable this site is, and I do have pictures though I'll reserve those for men who catch my interest with their big ... brain.  |

Some people on this site have a, uh, unique definition of monogamy. So let me clarify.
"Monogamous" means that I am looking for ONE partner, and likewise I am his only partner.
We do not "play" with other people.
I do not "play" with couples.
Please, please, if this is unacceptable to you, do not waste my time and write to me. |

Only a week until Halloween... but still no plans :( I had hoped I might have met someone here to invite me to something fun, but it looks like I'll be at home passing out candy.
I will not be online very much next month, I will be participating in National Novel Writing Month and all of my spare time will be taken up furiously trying to reach 50,000 words in 30 days. |

Red shivered as the wind gusted through the winter-bare branches. "I know these woods are full of wolves," she spoke aloud to the empty grey air, pausing only a moment before she set down the twisting path. She didn't want to be here when the sun went down.
