I am professionally employed and educated. I like the theatre, fine dining, films, books, baseball, golf, straight Kentucky boubon, and D/s.
I am a liberal, but not a knee-jerk liberal. I like to think about an issue, before I decide which way to go. I am... a card carrying member of of Amnesty International, the World Wild Life Fund, and the Southern Poverty Law Center. I use to be a member of the ACLU, but no more.
Magazines and Books.- I read Time, Foreign Affairs, The Atlantic, and Harper's Magazine. Some of my favorite books are The Code of the Warrior, about the ethics of soldiers, In Search of Belief, about finding belief in God, and The Grapes of Wrath.
Films and TV - I like movies and shows that have strong creative writing and compelling characters. Some of these include Forrest Gump, Gettsyburg, Mia Familia, Law and Ordr, Mad Men, and Men of a Certain Age.
Things I Enjoy - A rainy day, animals (especially cats), and a good discussion about anything as long as I learn something new.
Things I Hate - I don't spend time thinking about things to hate.
Words to Live By - God is not a circus ringmaster who runs our lives and is responsible for saving us from ourselves. God gives us the tools to make a good life, but it's up to us as to how we use those tools |
