Five month nine screws one steel plate and to many exams have passed sense the accident. The migrains seme to come on as they wish when they wish and affect every part of the memory. Parts of the past are missing and yesterday seems like last year, last year seem like last week, and the drugs dont seem to help much any more. The scars are gone the hair is back the scans are normal and the doctors are happy. The floggers are dusty the needles are rusty and my typing sucks. Yet my smile still flow's and I am always quick with a joke, and the dog is happy to see me.

As we grow we learn. As we learn we grow. These are the basic facts of life.

     So when do we stop growing and learning ? When do we know when enough is enough ? Are the answers really out there ? There are many opinions and there are many good ones as well. But who truely knows ?

     She has gone through so much training and has been so good through it all. She needs more and I have yet had the time to teach her. As we grow together though she teaches me as well. She has tought me to smile again, laugh again, cry again. How do I reward her for that. As I have tought her to kneel and proper ways to serve, as well as showing her new things she has never even herd of. All of that pales in what she has tought me. Parts of me which I tought were dead and gone. Parts of me I said good bye to and never expected them to return are now back.

     A friend once said that man has a hole in them selves and only when they find there soul mate will that hole ever be filled. But to fill that hole the man must be willing to learn and accept what can be changed and what can not be changed. Only his soul mate can do that.
