Always thought D/s as an obvious thing in life and never thought of it as a special lifestyle. One lives and learns and I am fascinated by the people here and their experiences in the lifestyle. I first realized how it has captured the imagination of the modern mind when I saw a news of a couple appearing publicly in a typical D/s attitude – she was wearing a collar and a dog chain attached and her master was walking her on the streets like that.

Till recently I never imagined a life which was not D/s – I was always dominant and my wife was always submissive. In all aspects and angles of life – including that ubiquitous issue of sex. When I used to see a couple where the man was deferent towards the wife I always dismissed the man off as a wimp never realizing till recently how he must have chosen that as a lifestyle. Though I can never be that person, I understand him now.

What can one write about oneself here ? I have not yet decided if I want to disclose my identity here because I can’t think of a single acquaintance who will not be shocked to know that I am a member here. To them this is kinky or perverted stuff, though I think I understand why people would like to join up here and discuss this genuine but hidden side in their psychological make-up. D/s as a subject of discussion fascinates me though I didn’t realize it even had a name till I came across D/s material in the net, sites like this etc. .
