I am tasked with writing an essay about what discipline means to me. Based on my short experience with my new Master I am learning that discipline is about respecting yourself and the people around you. Sometimes doing the thing you should do isn't the easiest option. It can often be difficult or stressful, but that doesn't mean you have an excuse to give up or do a halfway job.
In the last two months, I have learned that if I want something bad enough I have to be willing to make sacrifices for it. If I cannot sacrifice then I am just phoning it in,as my Master says. The dicipline I recieve now will help me shape my life and make me into a stronger man. One day when I am worthy I will graduate into other areas of mentorship and have something to be proud of. I am thankful for the opportunity that I have been given because before we met I felt lost and afraid of what the future will be like.
