Greetings, and thank you for taking a moment to look at my (longer than I realised!) profile. *smile*
For starters, perhaps a physical description is warranted, as the checkboxes they give you are minimalistic, at best. I am 5'4" tall, which puts me at the average for a female. My hair is a medium brown, and when in its usual ponytail, hangs to my lower midback. I have hazel-blue eyes that have been known to change colour, anywhere from a medium grey to a greenish blue, depending on what I am wearing and the light. My body type is usually called BBW, but the 'B' part is left to the eye of the beholder. *smile* I dress rather casually, and enjoy wearing the occasional silly teeshirt (my favourite is my Perky Goth tee, and uber bonus points if you get the reference!). I love wearing full-length, flowy skirts, and I have a few more rather nice, more formal outfits.
With regards to BDSM:
A sub is either a sandwich or a boat. 'Submissive' is an adjective, not a noun. I will submit to the right person. I do not view myself as 'property', and thus I will not be 'owned'. Another part of my individualness is that I do not see this as a 'lifestyle'. I have far too many aspects of me that it would be unfair to the others to call just one a 'lifestyle'. :) Finally, I am not a 'girl'. I am a woman, and even occasionally a lady. :) I do have limits, the main one being oral sex. It's just not something I will do. I am aware, sadly, that this will nigh immediately drive off a good many, but I accept that. There are so many other areas to explore that I hope we can find some common ground. Also, I am not bisexual as far as I can tell. I will hug, and maybe cuddle with a female I am close to, but beyond that? Not likely.
I am rather a novice at much of the different facets of BDSM. I know I have some limits, such as no permanent marks, and no visible marks at all. I don't know where my pain limit is, but I suspect it's not that high. That could change, but who knows. :) We can later discuss other foibles and limits. I think, in general, much of it is a trifle scary to me. Heck, despite having a mate, I've not had sex in so long I'm not sure who gets tied up! ;) Conversely, there are several things I know I do like, such as blindfolds, some impact play, and waxplay on certain areas. I do insist on the use of a safe word, and I prefer discussing a scene beforehand. I don't want a play-by-play, but I at least want a heads-up, as I don't like surprises in that area as a rule. :)
I know I mentioned I'm a novice, but it seems that bears repeating. I'm coming to realise that likely I'm seeking some of the quieter aspects of D/s. Want to know what is a bit of a turn-on for me? The idea of just sitting at a Dom's feet. Maybe that sounds silly or dumb or whatever, but it would be nice to experience. *smile* Especially if he was pulling at my hair.
My vanilla world:
I adore cats, and live with three of them. That being said, I am not looking to move. I have no desire to move. I have friends and my life is here. :) I love crafting, and am usually seen working on some project or another. Sadly, I've not gotten involved with making toys--yet. I am into the Middle Ages, art, movies, animation, and more. My music tastes are so varied that it's easier to say that my main dislikes are rap, country, and pop. Also, one of my requirements is that you need to be into gaming of one sort or another be it RPGs (and not just the ones on the computer), board games, card games, or others. :)
I am poly-minded, and do have two vanilla lifemates that I live with. They know of my interests and that I casually seek a dominant, and are completely fine with that. If the relationship with a dom came to it (though that is not my 'goal in seeking a dom), sex is also fine. Though the 'intimate details' of what we would do together won't be shared, be aware that they will know of my whereabouts with you. Really at this time, I am primarily seeking friends. Should I 'click' with a dom, that would be so much the better, but I understand that I have an odd arrangement, and it's unlikely. :)
Another thing to mention: Those of you with 'discreet' in their profiles need NOT apply. It really saddens and frustrates me to have folks ask me to, essentially, be part of a lie. If we do connect, you can be sure my mates *will* know of you. :)
With all that being said, I may well also be open to something online. I am usually on during the weekdays, so keep that in mind. :) It's something that would take time for me to get into, and I would still prefer you nearby (in NH, CT, or RI, for example).
