Because this is an advanced class, we're going to aim for a smaller class, and restrict it to people who have either a)attended previous bondage workshops with us or b) have demonstrated bondage skills at a minimum intermediate level.  Ei: we will NOT be going over BASIC safety stuff in this workshop, so if you're brand-new.. this is not the workshop for you....

Ethical Non-Monogamy Roundtable

Are you past the stage of curiosity, and ready to take the next step towards ethical non-monogamy?  Are you and your partner interested in polyamory, or opening up your relationship?  If you?re single, are you looking to meet a couple, or a wide network of intimate partners?  Are you beyond ?I want this? and ready to make it happen, and make it work?

In this roundtable discussion we?ll be picking up where we left off at our last roundtable discussion in December 2009.  We?ll be moving past the ?what is it and why do people do it? framework, and moving into ?how to make it work? instead.  We ask that those attending already have a general understanding of the multiple options that all fall under the ?ethical non-monogamy? umbrella.  (Brand new?  Check out this website before you come: http://www.lovemore.com/faq.php)

Do you know what to do if your top suffers a heart attack while you?re tied up to the cross? What would you do if you got burned during fireplay? How do you tell if your bottom really does need to be untied or if she?s just being bratty?

A big part of playing safe is being prepared for the risks you might encounter. Learning about the activities you?re participating in is a big part of that, but another part is just general readiness. P3Gatherings is very pleased to announce a special addition to our regular workshop schedule ? Sunday April 26, 2009 from 9 to 5 pm (approx) we?ll be hosting a Certified First Aid Class.

We?re very fortunate to have found a willing, skilled, experienced First Aid instructor ? for a class JUST for kinky folk. Ask the questions you want to ask.. without having to worry about "rephrasing" it for a Vanilla class or instructor.

Who is this class for?

• Tops - to play safe
• Bottoms - to be prepared for emergencies or self-care
• Switches (for the above reasons.. LOL)
• Event hosts ? either those of you who host events at clubs, parties, or even in your own home
• Dungeon monitors ? or those of you who wish to be dungeon monitors in the future.

Cost:

Because of the generosity of our instructor - the cost for this class is far below what you would pay elsewhere. We are offering ?Early Bird? tickets for 60$ from now until March 18^th to encourage everyone to get their tickets early.. After March 18th, tickets will be 75$. Please remember that tickets are non-refundable, and your ticket price covers supplies from our instructor as well as location rental, etc? Our early bird price reflects 2/3 the price you?ll find anywhere else through regular ?vanilla? routes.

There are only 18 spots available for this workshop. No tickets will be available at the door, nor will we "hold" tickets for anyone (it?s just not fair). This is an all-day class, more than just a 2 hour lifestyle first aid workshop.

March 28, 2009 in Calgary Alberta P3Gatherings will be hosting a follow up to our "Capturing your Kink" fetish photography workshop with "Fantasy on Film: Fetish Photography" workshop.  This workshop will include an instructional workshop with our guest presenter, followed by a hands-on group photoshoot. 

Models, Riggers, Photographers, and Stylists are all welcome and needed to share in this group educational experience!  Get some hands on experience in an area you're interested in? or share your existing skill set with a new group of people!

Our workshop will be followed by our regular PRIVATE BDSM play party? Doors open at 8pm, close at 9pm, and we party until 1am (or until we're all wiped out, whatever's first?)

After a day full of bondage delights in our day-long Interactive Bondage Intensive workshop with Mr. Ropes, take advantage of our own temporary harem dungeon space, complete with crosses, spanking benches, and other play furniture. Plastic Wrap Mummification and Sensation Play workshop
The workshop opens with a safety review and with a brief show-and-tell of alternate wrapping materials including duct tape and latex bands. The importance both of using food-safe plastic wrap on a body and of preventing skin from touching skin during the wrapping process are stressed. Once the bottom is safely mummified, the audience learns how to tease and stimulate her/him with toys that pinch, poke and abrade.

Flogging 101 ? Back to the Basics ? August 27^th, 2008

August 27^th, 2008, P3Gatherings presents an encore presentation of Flogging 101 taught by Sardaukar.

Come join us for this informative, interactive workshop, especially designed for those of you who are new to the lifestyle or the community, for curious vanilla partners, as well as for those of you seeking a new perspective on existing skills or looking to refresh skills that have gone unused.

This workshop will focus entirely on flogging ? carrying on from where SM 101 left off ? we?ll discuss safety, how to flog, choosing a flogger and more.

SM 101 - Making an Impact

Where BDSM 101 left off, SM 101 will pick up - delving deeper into the "play" side of SM in BDSM.


Heard of "Slap n' Tickle"? Sadomasochism: the act of applying sensation, often intense and often painful to bring about a positive state of sensation and pleasure. This workshop will explore how to play with and incorporate healthy, consensual SM in your relationships.

Impact Play is often one of the most common forms of SM play in our community. We will be discussing and demonstrating some of the most popular SM activities such as spanking, paddling, cropping, caning and more. In this Introductory workshop we will focus on the "activity" aspect of SM discussing types of Impact Play, techniques, where to hit, where not to hit, negotiating an SM scene, tools/toys, and other elements you'll want to consider.

Questions welcome, demo bottoms encouraged.

This workshop is ideal for those of you who are new to the lifestyle, want to learn other play styles, or maybe just want to add SM activities to your already growing play repertoire. It's also a great workshop for those of you who are already well-versed in SM, but maybe want to bring a curious partner to begin the dialogue about what SM is, and see first hand SM in action.

May 16, 17, 18, and 19, P3Gatherings celebrates it?s 3^rd Anniversary with special guest presenter Scott Smith (Rope Bondage: Precision and Persuasion with Rope).

May 16^th we?ll have a ticket-holder only meet and greet with Scott, followed by four workshops on Saturday May 17^th which include Breath Play, Rope Bondage, Advanced/Predicament Bondage, and Headgames. Our Saturday workshops will be followed by a private BDSM Play Party in celebration of bringing educational workshops and fun private play parties to Calgary?s BDSM/Fetish/Leather community.

Sunday will include a low-key ?come as you are? brunch, followed by Practical Rope Suspension, and a special ?by invitation only? workshop on Needles with a Twist.

Monday there?s a wrap-up at the ASK munch to re-live all the fantastic memories?

This event will take place March 22^nd, and will include two workshops and our regular Private Play Party.

Tickets for this event will be 8$/person per workshop $15/person for the party, and 50$ for two people to attend for the whole day. 

Tickets will be available at Monday night ASK munches at Tipperary's Pub in Calgary, through snail mail, and using paypal.  Tickets will also be available at our February 27^th BDSM 101 workshop.  We invite everyone to our workshops, however we do require an in-person interview for all new guests who wish to attend our play party.  Please get in touch if you would like to set up an interview with us.

In order to properly prepare for our event, we ask that anyone who wishes to interview do so by March 10^th, and that anyone interested in attending the event purchase their tickets by March 17^th. 

For February, our event will take place Wednesday, Feb 27^th, 7pm. The topic will be BDSM 101.
