I understand for some on this site, it is a way to "hook up." However, for many of us, this is a lifestyle--our way of life. We like and care about our community. In caring about the people who are part of it, proper and respectful communication comes with that. I personally expect for people to be honest and honorable in their communication, or I would prefer that you simply not write. For example, if you do not know a sub and that sub is not yours, you shouldn't address them as your b*tch.
If you write and ask someone a question and don't care for their reply, remember, you are the one who opened that can of worms, so do not be unkind simply because they didn't jump all over you and seek you to be theirs. Or, if you write seeking info, make sure you take the time to write and thank them if they took the time to write you.
No, this is not based on any one communication I have had, but some I have crossed paths with and recent chats with those in our community who have mentioned similar experiences. When in doubt, try taking the high road. In the long run, it's much more likely to bring you the true rewards in life that you seek. |
