Well, here's the all-important question, isn't it? -- Who am I and why am I here?
Not sure there's really an easy answer to either question, so forgive me if I'm winging it.
If I were to define myself with labels, I would say I am bi, poly, pagan, and for lack of a better word, ornj. The people that know me say the later describes me in whole, and for anyone who doesn't, well, ... doesn't that say it all? I'm me, just me. That's who I am. I've stopped having pretensions, or being ashamed of who/what I am. Even if I am not entirely sure who that is sometimes, I love and accept all of my me-ness. (And that's never an easy journey for any of us, is it?)
I would say that my male lifepartner is probably my reason for living -- he is the part of my soul I never knew was missing until I found him. We have been with other partners, and no matter how many times we emphasize that fact, there is always someone who Just Doesn't Get It. (I am sure many of you have been in the same boat at one time or the other, LOL!) We are not monogamous, but we are permanent. Period. The end. ... |
