I totally need to re... err that is re re re vamp this. but for now here it is.
A little re-vamp, have some years in the lifestyle. Enough to have an idea what I am about. Just enough to know it's a lifetime's journey of searching and growing. Learning not just new skills, but more about myself.
I'm poly, please don't let that scare you, I am not looking for a harem, currently have a submissive/slave, want to find another that is more a physical match.
Also be ok with me being bi, I'm not going to run off and join the gay club, I lean more toward het.
If you're looking for very strict, very controlling Dominant,, right off the bat, that will probably not be me. I'm a little more relaxed then most dominants. I don't even take myself too terribly seriously most of the time.
I can however play one on TV! Or roleplay it, or do it during certain times.
But at times I do enjoy high protocol.
I am actually open to dating outside my "dynamic" role. I have quite a few Dominant women as friends, and find them intriguing and engaging. I won't submit to you, now expect you to me but perhaps we'd find a shared mental space and unique energy.
I'm an empathic, sensual player. I don't have a need to give pain, I enjoy the energy exchange.
I'm also discovering I'm more primal then anything else, from my start in kink, to enjoying a good exchange. Wrestling, pinning all that good stuff.
I do enjoy bondage, I don't really call it shibari or kinbaku, as I don't concern myself with the "proper names of things" hell, sometimes I don't even use all the rope nor hide the ends!
My journey is to Mastery, and while I have a "slave", I am not yet comfortable calling myself "Master" aside from within a scene.
I consider myself pan-sexual, even though I don't have sex with men, I will have a scene with a man and have thought of taking 1 on as a part time submissive. I have a high regard for other then male driven scenes and dynamics, and feel I can learn from my female or transgender Dominant sisters.
My vanilla interests are varied and eclectic, and certainly make up more of my life's focus then the BDSM stuff, even though that part of my profile is longer, that doesnt mean it is more important just that it bears more explaining... :)
Includes, off the top of my head, sports (playing, not watching), gaming, reading, video (creation) photography water play (as in real water, not.. you know..)

This is my lifestyle, but my life doesn't revolve around BDSM/leather. I'm beyond the point where I think about it all the time, but I do enjoy expanding my knowledge of techniques and within myself the art of dominance.

Saw someone else with this advice in their journal and it's good advice I will pass along:
and that is if you are new, particularly sub, but really anyone, attend a "munch". This is basically a safe get together, typically at a restaurant.
You can use a screen, scene name. But it allows you to mingle and meet folks actually in the scene.
I know most of the munches in the Northern part of LA county or I can point you to resources.
