The air is so crisp this morning, this time of year just recharges my batteries. A nice walk, driving with the windows down, lying on the bed letting the cool night air flow across your chest....it doesn't get much better than that.. :-) |

Heading into another hot weekend in Oklahoma, fun times. I had to laugh this week from the pure lucridity of the online world. You send out a note or two, hoping for at least the courtesy of a reply only to be sadly reminded of the growing segment of the world with no social skills. I had a nice meeting with a young lady a few weeks ago. She was "new", was advertising for someone to help her learn and wanted to experience more...yada, yada, yada... When I initially sent her a note she ignored me because I was too "old". I had forgotten about sending the note so I sent another and we began to communicate. After a couple of weeks of exploring we decided to meet to see if we clicked. We did. After our first play meeting she began to cry...I was afraid I had hurt her, but instead she was crying because she had almost let her preconceived notions and age prejudices miss out on what we had just done. She told me to change the age on my profile to 38 so more people would chat with me. :-) No thanks darlin, my integrity is important and your prejudices and personal issues won't change my resolve... enjoy the day |
