Just because my profile is listed as 'submissive' does not mean I'm going to grovel in front of you simply because you identify as a D-type. I have a strong personality, and I am decisive, feisty, and well -- more than a little bit of a brat. *chuckle*

I identify as a Knight, when it comes to how I submit. I am strong, able to hold my own, able to defend my Dominant when someone insults him or offends him in front of me... but like a Knight, I expect my Dominant to have the same trust in me that a King does in a Knight. I would be his trusted adviser, his confidant, his shield, his sword -- and he would defend my honor with every ounce of fight that I would defend his.
That's the mentality of it, but of course I would be the one he pulls into his bed and does sexy evil things to... I like that side of medieval times too!
