I believe in labels only to describe someone in a general sense. I
don't believe that you have to dress a certain way in order to listen
to a type of music or vice versa. The only label I would go close
enough to place myself in is "Alternative". I take a little bit from
each sub-culture and I piece of together according to how I like it.
I
don't try to be something that I'm not in order to impress or please
anyone else. If they don't like me, that's tough shit on them. I think
Myzaree said it best:
"I am not trying to be anything. Not
even myself. I do not believe that there is a designated self that
people have assigned to them. We merely exist, and I would like to do
so in peace."
I'm very honest and blunt, however I know how to
express myself and my opinions without putting people down or
deliberately making them feel insecure. I try not to base any opinions
on the outer appearance of others, because I think their attitude and
personality are more important, and a more accurate reflection of who
they are as people. I'm very confident, and I'm a woman who knows what
she wants, and how to get it. I know myself, my faults, talents and
abilities. I have faith in myself and what I can do, and I don't
hesitate to be proud of my skills. Usually, that gives people the
impression that I am a "Bitch", "Cocky" or "Arrogant". If that's the
way some feel after reading this profile, in my opinion it could only
be caused by their insecurities with themselves.
