Frequently travel between the NY/DC areas.
Looking for like-minded individuals to meet. I first considered myself a sub, but after a very tiny bit of exploration I realized that while I definitely lean towards being sub, I'm not looking for 24/7 submission or even necessarily always submitting when playing with my partner.
I'm looking to find someone with which I can have a trusting relationship (whether that be romantic or good friends who explore BDSM [i.e. I'm not looking for just random play...even though it does not have to be a long term romantic relationship]). Ideally, this person would be interested in a similar situation, as friends or more who have mutual respect and a normal relationship with one another, but when it comes to exploring our kinkier sides they enjoy either switching between dom and sub or being the dominant partner. Also, it's important they realize I'm new to D/s, and are willing to bring me along and explore together the various aspects of it. I'm very open-minded, and willing to try most things, even those not listed in my interests (which are really just a general idea of things that I'm most interested in trying in BDSM).
Compatibilty outside of BDSM is also important to me, and since I'm looking for individuals with similar interests I'd prefer someone close to my own age, under 30 or 35. My interests outside of D/s are extremely varied, and I have many hobbies that aren't listed here. I'm generally very easy going, have a fairly dry sense of humor, and as a general rule try not to take life or myself too seriously.
