Getting more settled in season 2 here Z'hills. I've got the front garden done and looking good, I did other landscaping projects before it gets too hot, I've got various types of bell peppers, 3 types of tomatoes and 5 different types of herbs coming up as sprouts...next is transplanting to the southern side of the house, where I reclaimed and cleaned out all of that to put in the veg/herbs garden. Between garden, working on computer (web sites) projects and music projects is a general way to describe what I've been doing.
I've had a few dates, but nobody I could really click with, because we just had too many STR8/vanilla interests, which didn't match. Oh well, wish them well too and hopefully I'll find someone in central FL.
Daytona Beach and Orlando proved a bit better for friends/play-partners, but I'm also now looking for the LTR. At this point, after this season, seriously thinking about moving to Tampa, Sarasota are or somewhere around there on the water again...I do find I miss it. And, as long as I've got internet/web access and phone signal...I'm in business! :-) |

Well...for various reasons, including the recording studios in the area to do session work as a musician from time to time, the relocation city of choice is Orlando!
Checking out a place in Lake Mary on the lake tomorrow, but from what maps and Google satellite view show, it appears this may be the deal. |

I'm kicking around the idea of relocating from Daytona Beach to either Orlando or the Tampa area in about September. I own web-based businesses and a total of 106 web sites, which I can work from just about anywhere.
I also have several friends through here and elsewhere that are in those cities and perhaps it might be fun to spend a little time to see where I find to be the final resting spot.
I figured Daytona was a pretty good landing zone, when I relocated to FL a couple of years ago and I've made a lot of good friends here, but I want to see more of the state. It also will give me some good reasons to take a couple well-earned vacations over the next few months to see where I might wish to give a try to a new area of the state. |

I have to admit that I love some of the 'would be if they could be DOMs', the "Dumb-doms", members of Collarme that send subs my way, albeit they really don't intend to do so. They have made it very easy to get sub friends and play partners and all I can say is "thanx fools, keep up it up, even if this is apparently the only thing you can keep up.
They also make the subs, who are and who become my friends, appreciate me as a friend and a DOM all of the more so, as one who is articulate, mature, experienced, caring, trustworthy and responsible.
I'm sure there are other real, mature and experienced DOMs here, who appreciate the 'dumb-doms', as much as I do and for all of the very same reasons...I'm just the only one who will say thanx for all of the fun and good times these 'dumb-doms' make possible for us. |

Although these are difficult economic times for many, I'm pretty bless for being as busy I am, although like everybody else, it feels good to gripe about the workload from time to time.
It appears I will get to see the State of Florida a bit more in 2009, as I have travels to most of the major cities and areas on the agenda. These travels will be work related.
As I do so, I'm looking forward to getting together with some of the folks I've met here at Collarme; whether it is only lunch, show me around (because I'm lucky if I know my way around Daytona Beach), or if the potentials for play are realized and exercised. Thus, 2009 promises to be a very good and fun year.

I will stipulate I am probably the world's worst per updating jounal entries, due to the time and efforts my str8/vanilla life requires of me.
I have met some play partners and a couple remain on a reasonably frequent basis, with the understanding that on a per need basis, we get together for safe play.
We've all been in a situation during the past year, where this is an occasional private matter and we all have high stress professional jobs, with many requiring frequent travel. I have many more folks, who I talk with, consult and advise on a more regular basis, including newbies.
I do enjoy this, because after all of these years of play, if I can help de-mystify some things from what is really founded upon fantacy, then I help those others to enjoy the fullness of safe, responsible, caring and loving play. |

Well...I think I'm starting to finally getting settled in here, after a 1,000 mile move. What a process! Pain in the fanny too!!!
I've been here since July and even though I have a private pier and covered boat dock, I've only been out fishing on it about a half dozen times...got to fix that soon I've had BDSM fun even less...need to fix that soon too. |

I figured I'd stay in Pgh, PA area for a few years to catch up with family and old friends. Done that. Pgh winters, especially this week, are reminding me why I left. I've advance my timetable to make my final "semi-retirement" relocation to FL. Looking at Daytona Beach area as a landing zone, but will probably ultimately find something in the DTB, Orlando, or CW/St.P/Tampa area. I can do what became a rapidly growing public finance business from anywhere and so I'm going to do it where it is a lot warmer and I can hit the beach more regularly. White sand beats white snow each and every time. So FL, here I come! |

Meeting new friends through here and other sources. Some are newbies and I'm enjoying answering their questions, being a friend, and giving them their first experiences they've long dreamed about. And yes, on the flip side of this, I've talked to a few, who it leaves no wonder why they are on here day after day, don't get what they want, and blame everybody else and everything else why this is so. Well, finally getting settled back here in Pgh.
Decided to start a business consulting to fire departments and municipalities for something to do during the week. Mostly doing financing, along with computer and general administrative consulting.
Playing some music on weekends and I'll do a few trips back to Nashville during the coming year. I've been doing a lot of piano, guitar and harmonica playing, while also songwriting. Finally, after all of these years I'm working on finishing/polishing my own songs (got about 600 of them) and it took leaving Nashville and coming back to Pgh, to find the time to do this.
Now all I need to do is find someone in the Pgh. area who will not only fit in with my vanilla interests, but my private BDSM play as well. |

Relocating back to PA, after being in Nashville for over 25 years has proven to be a challenge. Likewise I'm taking my time to identify those potential play parnters with similar interest, with focus to finding someone as a partner/spouse.
Maybe I'm being too cautious, because I do have a very public image and a lot of resources. With recent events and multiple opportunities for my solo music/artist career, I needed to remove my photo from my profile here and elsewhere. I'm also looking for those special people that will be as much fun and interesting outside the scene and at very high-profile public events, as they are privately.
Hopefully I'll soon find more subs with the ability to interact with me at very public events I do in my str8 life. Finding those who like the lime-light and better things in life is easy...finding someone who is also very privately and discretely into the scene is the challenge. |
