Ok I have seen this on many profiles and I am quite disturbed by it. Time and time again I see on profiles both Dom/me, Master/Mistress, sub, and slave, that they are looking for a girlfriend or boyfriend. Is it that people just don't care or is it that so many are this uneducated about the lifestyle that they fail to realize that the terms boy/girlfriend are completely vanilla concepts and have NO place in the BDSM lifestyle. Now don't get Me wrong I understand the want and or need for a monogamous relationship, but the relationships that are developed in Our way of life are too complex to limit them to such simplicity.
Another thing to ANYONE who emails Me, please dear goddess learn the fucking difference between Dom/me and Master/ Mistress, sub and slave, because there is one. If you are into the Leather lifestyle and have been recognized by your local community for your participation and work within the life style then by all means you may approach me with the title Master or Mistress and I will give you proper respect as such, but if you use the terminology simply because you think that it sounds cool I will NOT I repeat NOT address you as such. The Men and Women within the Leather community work hard and for many years to be addressed as such.
For those of you that fail to realize why I specify the difference between the the M/s and D/s relationships here it is quite simply, in a M/s relationship the slave gives up authority over his/herself to Master PERMANENTLY or for the length of T/their contract. This does Not change hands when the Master and slave are not together. With a D/s relationship there is no authority exchange only power exchange that lasts the length of the scene or contract, and the sub is free to resume complete control of his/her life outside of the scene and/or when the Dom and sub are not together.
Finally if a slave approaches Me and asks Me to take them under My consideration or training collar then that is fine I have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is when given a reasonable instruction you think that you have the right to or are entitled to question My judgment or will. First off you are a slave you have no rights and everything that you do is by My will and you own nothing. The only time that you have a right to question anything is if it puts you into harm or if it breeches the contract that W/we agree upon. When accepting a collar you are entrusting that the Master has your best interests in mind. Further, when a slave says my or mine they are then referring to property of the Master that they are keeping for the Master. They may also use it when referring to their slavery and their slave brothers and sisters. Remember that you are property and something that is owned can not own anything.
And remember the slave always has the last word...Yes Mistress. |
