Well lets see, It's been a busy year 2008 already. Has a 15 1/12 with a instructional permit and doing great. Took her 7 months before she got in her first accident (NOT her fault) and everyone is fine.
My Rottweiler had a litter of pups in April and here it is the end of August and still has 2 males left... anyone looking for a Rottie/Lab mix?
Had a 10X12 Tall Storage barn W/loft put up on the property and is looking to order a couple fire/bbq pits soon.
Baught a ATV to make life a little easier not to mention keeping the 15 year old happy. LOL
Been talking to a special someone since July and is looking forward to meeting.
Next year is looking to clear the lower south40 on the property and put up a huge barn with plenty of rafters.... now what could we all do with a few rafters here and there??? hummm???? Is sure you all will think of something.
This Labor day weekend is having a few folks out to the property for a relaxing get away. Should be interesting....

It's been a while since I've written anything in this journal and thismorning it just seemed to be the thing to do.
As I was sitting here reading profiles, I just had to shake my head at some of them.
Folks out there just truely dont understand the drive from both sides of a Dom/sub/bottom when it comes to a flogging, fireplay, knifeplay ect. scene.
It's NOT a punishment folks!! In most cases, its a need of the sub/bottom, it's a release of pinned up energy, its the endorphin rush (Dom/sub/bottom space) we all or most of us talk about.
A scene that contains these elements of what one NOT in the lifestyle would call painful are very much mistaken. A flogging can be for both sides (The giver and reciever) a very enjoyable, loving, sensual experiance, not to mention all that pinned up energy is released to leave you with a feeling of serenity and calm.
I dont want folks to now go out there and start beating someone thinking its ok and will make them a better person. There are more then enough folks out there that have experianced a flogging ect. that truely know the need of such things. Know what you are doing before attempting it. Search your local BDSM groups in your area and LEARN how to do what we do and how to do it safely. Be SSC at all times and make sure your Partners are as well.

It's been a while since I've written. I've been busy going to all the Log home Seminars, open houses and working. It's getting close to that time to think seriously about building.
I've chosen Percision Craft Log Homes, with my ideal floor plan. Just finalizing a few things first.
I had a month were it was nothing but funerals. ( one X and my brother all in one month) I find it hard getting back into the swing of things but figure diving right in to something new like a new home would be just the ticket. |

Wow has a whole year gone by already. Property is shaping up nicely. Had a couple weeks vacation to work and relax not to mention a few folks came to enjoy it as well.
Went to a few events this year which kept me busy.
The Farms pony play weekend is a event you all should check out. The owners are wonderful and very informative, not to mention the Farm is relaxing. I will be going back as I have some promise of sceneing to do. *smiles to D and LadyRobin* Went to Canada on a business trip which was nice. I finally got to see and enjoy Canada as I had never been there before.
The Bash in TN (May) was great as usual and kept me quite busy doing Demo's and scene's.

It's been a long year and much was done at the property. We've had some ProDomme's come to enjoy the scenic view and filming, We had a Halloween Party that was just great. We didnt get by without any snags of course. We wont go into the contractor again.
The flooding of Lesterville was scary but we came out unscaved since it was all on the other side of the mountain from us.
Next year "06" is looking forward to finally building that Barn which will be used for socializing and scene's, getting electric in finally and getting the well in. I'll be happy to get at least that much done without aggrivation LOL... I never realized just keeping it up is a chore but is enjoying every moment of it.
Hopes your Xmas was wonderful and your NewYear to be a safe and enjoyable one with plenty of beatings to go around. I'll be joining some friends for NewYears and Let the beatings commence. |

Well life isent without bumps and bruises and is no different building a lifestyle hideaway. I've run into snags here and there but in time they will work themselves out. There has been small groups working and enjoying the scenic out doors at the Hideaway. Though it's slow I think no matter how long it takes it will grow to be the place we invision for all our lifestyle friends. I'm just having a blast getting from point A to point B and knowing others are enjoying it too. |

After major surgery in Dec and being out for a month, I Finally got approx 3-4 acres cleared, The entrance leveled and new Gravel laid, This weekend will be laying down grass seed. hopefully next will be setting up the campsites complete with Fire Rings. Activities are starting to pick up since the weather has been nice. |

I keep getting "Where is it's" in my mail. so here it is. The land is in Annapolis, Iron County, about a 2 hour drive from St.Louis. Far enough away to be getting away and hide, but close enough to come visiting for the day. |

Well A/all as of Thursday I put a contract on some acres in Iron County MO. and as of Friday the owners of the land accepted my offer. I close on the 15th of June (wish Us well)
Now the real work begins with clearing some brush, ect.
The plans are, my personal mini farm at one end and a Country bdsm getaway at the other.
Things we are discussing and that are in the work now are the following:
A. Barn #1 for Demo's, sceneing, and socializing.
B.Barn #2 for vendors in one half and store on the other.
C. A small Pony Girl&Boy stable being put up, They can be rented to take visitors around the encampment, Also in the works are Carriages being made light enough for them to pull visitors around the encampment.
D. Cabins and Camping spots to be put up, all rustic until things get going enough to add electric, air/heat to the cabins...
