About MistressDespoina
Well I came on here to update but to be honest I think all that I've said before still stands. If I think of anything new and interesting to add I will. For now here is an interesting fact: If you want to throw a cat out of a window without harming it do it from the 7th floor or above!
Why yes, yes I do piss glitter and shit rainbows. Thanks for asking!
Still looking though don't get online as often as I would like these days. Leave a message and I promise if I am interested I will get back to you no matter how long ago it was sent.
What I am looking forSomeone local to me. I believe that we are all equals, our roles do not define us, though when I'm watching telly and want a drink you had better be ready to fetch me one lol Other than that everything can be negotiated. I would prefer some one who can drive and owns a car.

"In my experience as a d/s relationship develops, both the domme and the
sub grow stronger. Partly this is down to their growing love and respect
for each other, but I think also because both find their true selves.
As a sub man I don't feel "weak" or "pathetic", but empowered (yes,
really). I know that probably sounds counter-intuitive but it is how I
experience it."

I've resisted writing this for quite a long time, but it is about time I gave in and addressed the issue of messages. But were to start?!
The first thing that bugs me is when I recieve messages from people being nasty just for the sake of it, then block me from replying or opt for the more novel method of deleting their profile. I just don't get it, why go to the hassle of doing that?!
Secondly, the people on my circle of friends, well theyre my friends! Messages slagging them off are not likely to make me want to talk to you, and I will pass the message on to them, so be warned!
The third thing is when the same person messages me over and over again. If I havent replied the first time, hounding me is unlikely to help you!
And lastly (or fourthly) this is my journal, read it, enjoy it, hate it, do what you will, but don't think for one second that your opinion will ever influence it.

O/ok I/i T/think I/it's A/about T/time I/i A/addressed T/the I/issue O/of C/capital L/letters A/according T/to Y/your B/bD/dS/sM/m P/persuation.
Can anyone honestly tell me that it doesn't look stupid and isn't totally pointless?
Ok, I know people say it's a sign of respect etc but what is more important, respect for one person that you don't know and is likely to be either a 14yr old boy having a ham shank or a scammer, or respect for the English language. Capital letters have their place. It's a good place for them to be. Can we leave them there and not continue with the annoying multi letterisation. The only way 'your' has a capital letter is if it is the begining of a sentence, or some unfortunates name. And 'I' will always be a capital letter, despite the fact your enjoy drinking piss and having your balls trampled. Simples.

Once more with feeling...
If your not in UK dont bother messaging me!

Please don't send me a circle of friends request if I don't know you.
The fact that I don't know you clearly shows we're not friends!
Simples.

I was watching a program last night, just an average crime drama sort of program, but one thing was said that got me thinking. In this program there was a couple committing murders. One being the dominant partner, the other the submissive partner. The thing that got me thinking was "As the dominant partner becomes stronger, the submissive partner becomes weaker and feels more and more guilt, by taking the responsibility away from the dominant one. In the end the dominant will lose all control, and destroy the submissive. This type of relationship never ends well." Is it true? I know so many people get disillusioned with this life style, so maybe that can explain it, but I have never seen the profile on her of a couple that have been together more than a few years.

I've had this in my mind for a few weeks now, so time to write it down and get a few opinions on it.
Female Supremacy and strap ons.
How exactly can the two go together? Women don't have cocks, men do. So a woman wearing a strap-on is de-feminising herself, or to put it another way, making herself more masculine. So how can anyone say that they believe in female supremacy and wear a strap-on, as to do so is to imitate a male, who they are saying is inferior?
I think female supremacy is a load of rubbish truth be told, there are an equal number of dominant males and females, so how can either sex be classed as being the better sex? I'm sure there are plenty who agree, and plenty more that disagree, half of which would say they agree in order to please me.
All the same, opinions please.

Firstly I would like to clarify that despite my name being "Despoina" I do not actually speak Greek.
I'm feeling curious today, and looking for some opinions. Do people really believe its possible to tell whether someone is "sub" or "Dom/me" just by looking/talking to them? I would say in day to day life I'm mostly submissive, I go with the flow and I'm always eager to please people. Does that mean I'm sub, the fact that I take other people's feelings and needs above my own, or does it mean I'm just a caring Domme? I know the answer, for me anyway, but what about other people? What do you think about it? I've met some fairly selfish, heartless subs who only think about their own wants and desires. Does that make them Dom?
Ok, next item on today's agenda, messages. I get a lot. I don't reply to many. I am not being rude or ignorant, I just see it a waste of my time and yours to engage in a conversation simply to say not interested. Plus I've found that actually saying not interested doesn't work, and the person in question still messages me.

Well I've been thinking, and I would like to clarify something. I'm not Domme. I'm not sub. I'm not switch. It's strange how we are all seen as deviants, yet all so affraid to deviate away from the labels which we insist on prescribing to one another. I do what I do because I enjoy it, not because my personality demands it. I will never be ruled by this. Labels are difficult things to move away from, so I choose to label myself as Domme, as dominant is the only one that comes close to describing me. But I am also not afraid to carry out what some would see as submissive acts, like admitting to my partner I'm scared or unsure, letting someone else take the lead. Life is made up of so many different kinds of people, and each person is made up of such varying qualities. I refuse to let myself be ruled by another rule, even if it is the rule of the deviant society in which I've chosen to find myself. ?
