So, the Jewel of Treve chatroom here on CollarMe has been shut down, at least for now. I leave an open invitation to any Free and slave - collared or bareneck - who made a Home there to visit #Turian^Treasures at least until Tthey find a new Home. I do promise this:

From now until 12.01am Pacific Time on July 23rd, 2012, I will not offer any slave who was of Jewel of Treve a Home collar. Any slave - formerly JoT or otherwise - who wishes one must do so of her or his own accord, with no prompting or coercion from Myself or any other Free, and there must be no question in the eyes of the TT Home Free handling it that it is what the slave wants. This may not be the typical Gorean way, but I'd rather a slave who actually wants to be there. Should a slave who was last with JoT ask to become part of My home, the slave will be placed under Consideration status until an assessment period is finished or until the time mentioned above, whichever is later.

As for any other slaves who wish to take a Home collar, I will be more than willing to entertain the idea after having discussed it with the slave, seeing where she or he is with respect to training, and the like.

Always on the lookout for new slaves and Free to join Uus in #Turian^Treasures .. if you don't know how to connect via a chat program, click on the [Chatrooms] button on the left and look for Uus there. Experienced kajirae are welcome to help other slaves learn the ropes, and slaves who wish to learn what Gor is actually about are welcome to come in and learn. (Note that respect is very big on Gor. If something feels wrong, find a Home like TT .. find someone with a capped nick, preferably at the top of the channel list, and ask!)

So.. I visit one particular Gorean chat room on here ( #Ko-Ro-Ba ) and up until recently, the room had a pretty good stable of good city slaves. The room is for learning about Gor and at least from what I've been able to see, the slaves are treated pretty well, city, personal, or bareneck. Some time in the last 48 hours, the shit hit the fan (which started with a personal issue between a Master and His personal slave), and a bunch of the slaves begged for release by the City. Many of them went over to another similar room - #Jarl`sPlace - which is owned by a Lady who has also helped with opping duties in KRB. I believe many of the slaves have now been collared there. My concern is that with the limited information I have, it seems this may have been brought about by a third party, possibly because they have had issues with Someone from #Ko-Ro-Ba in the past. KRB is still relatively new to CollarMe, having only opened earlier this year, so many of the slaves haven't really had a chance to get 'attached' (in an emotional sense) to KRB as of yet.

As I said, I feel there was a third party involved. I do not currently hold the opinion that most of the Staff or house slaves of JP - the Lady and Her Jarl included - would do such a thing to KRB, and in fact I respect Tthem greatly. That being said, My "Home" here is KRB, and I respect Aall the Ppeople that have made Me feel welcome there. If any of the slaves that have moved to JP change their minds, they will be more than welcome to visit Uus again.

As well, if there is Aanyone who wishes to learn more about the Gorean lifestyle, please feel free to join the chat rooms and pop into #Ko-Ro-Ba and see Uus. Be advised that Gor is based around a Master/slave society, and so a submissive (for example) has to decide whether or not he or she is comfortable with the idea of being a slave for the purposes of the room. Wwe've also had at least one Sswitch have to make that decision, and she chose to not only stay with Uus but she was a city slave as well. (I was told by her though that she was away when things happened, so she wasn't one that begged for release.)

I see a lot of women who put NO MEN PLEASE or something similar in their profile. The ones that are lesbian, well, that should go without saying. The ones who aren't are the ones that make me wonder. If you're looking for a Mistress, you're probably further ahead putting yourself down as a lesbian.

That being said, there's a *lot* of guys who have no clue how to take no for an answer. People who find one girl - a slave or submissive most times - and chase after her even though she's turned him away countless times. (Yes, sometimes it's a girl chasing a guy, but that happens much less often.) Guys.. there's thousands of people on this site. Just because one girl says no to you doesn't mean you can't find someone else. Accept it and move on. There's no sense making her life miserable, and you really don't want the reputation of being an arrogant, abusive stalker. Get your act together and move on. I don't care how long you've been a Dominant or Master for - being one involves respect for others, including a potential submissive or slave. If you can't respect another's decision, then you're not going to find much fulfillment.

  It's funny. Finding someone RL seems so awkward for me. A large part of that, I think, is due to the kind of job I have - I'm on permanent overnights. I have my weekends free, but start again Sunday night, and staying up all day and all night is no longer an option.

  Then I log into the chat rooms, and in the 7 weeks I've been on here, and roughly a month in one particular chat room, I've found at least two slaves that seem enamoured with me, a couple more that seem to really like me, and a few more that "just" like me. The drawback, of course, is that most of these people live either in Western Canada or in the USA, and, well, I don't.

  I've mailed a few people back and forth on here as well that are more local, but quite often I find with those conversations, it might go back and forth for a bit, and then I suddenly don't hear back from them. Mind you, some of the people I've been chatting with, I didn't expect anything anyways - I don't mind messaging lesbians as long as their profile suggests they're willing to *chat*, and not to expect anything more than just someone cool to talk to, for example.

  Let's see if I can find someone closer that's willing to do more than just chat :)

Was just chatting with someone on Yahoo who, it turned out, wanted to know if I could buy her from her school? Apparently the school has no website, just an email address. A Google search on the name part of the email address - BDSM Group and Associates - pulled up lots of comments of "THIS IS A SCAM!" People, beware. The profile of the user in question has apparently been removed between the time I started chatting with ?her? and today, which means sometime within the last few days, so I couldn't report it. But I'll say this:

If a user has IM (Yahoo/MSN/AIM/whatever) contact information already in their profile, keep your eyes open. Do not be surprised if you find they are asking for money.

In this case, the user claimed to be from Edmonton, Canada, and a model. The interesting piece of information I was given near the end of today's conversation was that the outfit was "they only in Canada Florida and Uk and Nigeria MAster". That bit about being in Nigeria was a big tip-off, considering Nigeria is home to many scams.

A note to people who want to chat or mail other users: Yyou come across much more interesting if Yyour profile actually says something. If the last line on it is "Last Online" or Yyour "Actively Seeking" list, and there isn't even a note about Yyourself, people just aren't going to be very interested in Yyou. Same if Ssomeone browses through profiles - if that Pperson has Interest Search active, Yyou won't show up. Yyou don't need a huge list, but say *something* about Yyourself!
