I'm fairly well-known in the local community, and can provide references. Safe is relative, nobody I know will vouch for my sanity, but I do have a reputation for honoring consent.
Experienced or newbie, light or heavy players, it doesn't matter - I'm flexible and can have fun with any. What I do insist upon is honesty. I don't cyber or do any more on the phone than I have to - I've a strong preference for F2F.
I've been unpartnered for a bit over 2 years, have been dating a bottom from a nearby state who is aware that I'm looking for something more - while we have fun together, we're not well matched as a couple.
My two kids are now old enough to not need a sitter, but they live with me, and I've gotta make responsible noises in that direction fairly frequently - the brats do keep me busy.

Intriguing week
I had someone start a game of 20 questions - they'd recognized me, and wanted me to guess who they were, with a handle that wasn't familiar at all. Feh.
On a brighter note, I've met some interesting people here, and coffee dates are fun. Some possiblities are starting to show over the horizon - it's time for me to get that spring cleaning done and get on with the fun stuff!

Interesting couple of weeks - but not in a good way. I *did* get to kill a half-dozen teenagers in D&D, which was a high point (I know, I'm twisted), but I've run across far too many folks who have very little idea of what d/s is all about (no, it does NOT require whips or chains), who are eager to chide others over safety issues (not safe enough for you does not equal unsafe - and "safe" was never intended to be a club to beat others with), and who have embraced the romanticized ideal of submission - where the dominant loves you deeply, would never demand anything you wouldn't love, and who otherwise looks like the hero in a romance novel.
I guess I'm grumpy this week.
It's a shame that BDSM became so accessible - it drew the clueless, the fakers, and the inept like flies. It's worse now than it was when BDSM was carefully hidden - then, if you found someone involved, you could at least assume that they knew something, and used roughly the same vocabulary.
Yup - I *am* grumpy this week. Oh, well...

Wow - hittin' the big four-eight. I'm reminded of Heinlein's comment (though the quote is probably off a word or three): 'Isn't it amazing, how much 'mature wisdom' resembles being too tired?'
On a brighter note, I've got a bunch of teens coming over tomorrow. While some of them are obviously interested in the daughter, it's comforting to know that I'm not too old to have fun with 'em.

Whee - I'm all approved and everything. Found some interesting profiles, sent out some email - maybe there'll be more replies now that folks can see the profile.
I see that URLs and contact info away from Collarme are verboten - which strikes me as confining, considering how many years I've been active very publicly, locally and on the internet. I'll have to hunt thru the help files and find out just where that line is drawn, and maybe even why - I don't want to annoy the admin here, but it should be an advantage to be as well-known as I am. Ghu knows I've dealt with the disadvantages of fame (or infamy) often enough.
