I am a solid, strong man - strong enough to openly share my emotions, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses.
Regardless of whether I choose to be dominant or submissive in a given situation, I have a firm grasp of both sides of the spectrum, and a respect and empathy for my partners in interaction.
I KNOW THAT IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT ME. And thank goodness for that!
I am PATIENT. I do not rush things unnecessarily; nor do I allow myself to be rushed by others.
I am always LISTENING. I understand that without OPEN listening, there is no point to human interaction. I understand that listening is one of those things that one can never get too good at. It's a lifetime skill that you can always refine.
I am SECURE in my being. I do not need to THREATEN others with my strength to show that I am strong. Within certain kinky contexts, threatening play is wonderful... but outside of those contexts, I do not need to bully people. I am past that.
I do not need "game" to satisfy myself or others (though games can be fun :-). However, I am always open to learning new SKILLS for enhancing my interactions with others.
I am a POSITIVE thinker. In every situation, be it a celebration or a hardship, I draw out the things I can LEARN, and how I can use such events in my life to move FORWARD and GROW, and assist others to do the same.
I know that the ability to HEAL is a hundred times less coveted than the ability to destroy, yet a million times more valuable and sorely needed on this Earth. Thus I strive to be a HEALER.
I am not afraid to be WRONG, or to admit I am wrong when I am. Nobody is right all the time, and even when something is right at one moment, it can be completely wrong the next. In fact, I think it can often be wonderful to be legitimately proven wrong - I get to learn a better way!
