| I am an intelligent, sensitive, honest woman with a great sense of humor. Laughter is hugely important to me. I'm very comfortable in my own skin and have a great sense of who I am and why I'm on this earth. I believe in sharing my time and/or money with those less fortunate than I and, to that end, do quite a bit of volunteer work. I love children and animals and they seem to love me back. My youngest friend is 17 and my oldest is 81 (not a parent); most of my friends have been in my life for at least 25 years. I like to meet new people; create new friendships; have new adventures. I'm very young at heart and I truly love my life. I'm looking for someone who is honest, loyal and trustworthy; someone who has a great sense of humor and has the ability to laugh at themselves every once in a while. I need to be friends with someone who has a modicum of intelligence and keeps up with current affairs; someone who likes to read a good book, watch a good movie, cook a gourmet meal with me, go for a walk and even go fishing for the day. I like people who have a good sense of self, are independent, both financially and personally, and who are not afraid to explore something that they may consider "out of their element". I don't expect perfection because you won't get that from me, however, I do expect open communication, honesty, integrity and humility. I don't like head games and, quite frankly, will not accept them in any of my relationships, whether they be friendship or more. My expectations from others are no less than what I expect from myself.
