About m1sf1t
I am increasingly intrigued and excited by this lifestyle with every new discovery, and I have been involved in it since 2001. It has been an amazing journey of evolution and education marked by a series of great people and experiences. It is my hope that this journey never end or grow stale and that I continue to discover new aspects of interest and of myself.
While I am certainly a dominant person, I have never identified with the label of "Dom." It feels too confining. Dominance is one part of my personality, an important piece of me, but it is not the entirety of who I am. I can also come across as the absent minded professor, stuck in my own head, jumping from idea to idea. Other times, I am a quiet observer, a storyteller at the center of conversation, or simply the guy helping you find the gluten-free foods in my store. We are all made up of a variety of facets.
It is those facets, especially the odd mixtures of them, that make it truly exciting to get to know new people. The discovering of new pieces of an individual's personality is what forms friendships and continues to deepen them.
Setting that somewhat pretentious sounding spiel aside, I am a man of almost problematically varied interests. From the geeky: computers and gaming, to the green: organics and eco-architecture, to the productive: woodworking and farming, to the outdoors: off-roading and camping, it can all be quite a bit to keep a handle on, sometimes. However, it does mean I can find something to talk about with most people. So, if you have found some manner of common ground with me, do not hesitate to send a message my way. |
