Who I Am I'm a Kansas City native, born and raised. I love baseball and hockey, along with bike riding and hiking. My tastes in literature are primarily oriented to Science Fiction, Fantasy, Alternate History, Techno-Thrillers, Post-Apocalyptic, Historical Fiction, and Military Fiction. I also thoroughly enjoy non-fiction about History, Economics, Philosophy, Foreign Cultures, Mythology, Technology, and Science. This also translates into my taste for movies and television as well. In my down time, I prefer to play video games of the 4X genre such as Crusader Kings II, Civilization, and the Total War series. That said, I also enjoy various other simulation and shooter games. I mention my politics on my interests page. As we are in a rather contentious era, let me state this. I'm a Conservative by American standards because I am an Individualist and a Classical Liberal in the vein of Burke and Hayek and Locke and Friedman and Sowell. Just got out of a rocky relationship which had a very rough ending, and thus am not currently looking for a partner. I learned something about myself as a result. I'm no longer interested in brats, littles, or switches. My previous partner was all three of these, and - as a novice who is still trying to become the Dominant I feel myself drawn towards - I have soured on these traits. It's possible this may change, but I find it unlikely at the moment.

I've noticed many people here neglect their interests in non-BDSM aspects of their life. This is a shame, especially for those looking for long term relationships with a Dominant or submissive. Such a relationship can't be built on compatible sexuality and physical attraction alone. Eros can be a powerful force, but with out the bonds of philia which cone from compatible interests and philosophies, such a relationship must, ultimately, falter and collapse. Only through the combination of eros and philia can true love grow. So, submissives, when I bring up non-BDSM interests, please note it is for that reason. I already know you are kinky, and if you have your interests filled out I know how kinky, but I am looking for something more than just a playmate, and I hope you will be able to provide me with that.
