I am 66, bearded, balding, carry too much weight, recently divorced, a grandfather times 4, retired but considering going back to work out of boredom, educated, traveled, opinionated but open to new ideas. I am an Engineer by degree and mindset. I attended one of our nations service academies and served in Viet Nam. I know the gut check of incoming and the pride of still functioning. I have watched the harbor from atop Victoria's Peak, climbed the Eiffel, raced after lions on the Savanna, and sailed the Leeward Islands. Frankly, there are not many places I still want to see and only a few I would visit again. I prefer the simpler things: excitement in a child's eyes, warm fires, cold sweet tea, soft moans of joy and a very submissive woman to play with. I read poetry, listen to a wide range of music with a preference for bluegrass and vocals I can understand. Lost some of my hearing in Viet Nam; I have trouble hearing with a lot of background noise. I am a history buff and follow current events reasonably closely. Politically I am fiscally conservative and socially liberal.
I know myself quite well. Not much interested in playing games. I know what I can afford and will not commit to anything I cannot maintain. The LTR that interests me exists on many levels. Trust is an important part of that. Above all, I will not lie in a LTR and will not tolerate being lied to.
