I pride myself on being a study in contrasts. A feminst submissive, an elitist liberal, a grammar snob who loves to read blogs (okay, okay, so that's a bit of a stretch ), a literary type who loves old Classic Comix retellings of the Iliad, someone who puts chocolate chips on salad (seriously, it's good.)

I'm looking for input (no pun there) on S&M and lifestyle, especially in the DC area. I'm sort of new to this--the idea of a web database of doms/subs completely blew me away! Message me for chat, ideas (I love learning about new things, and can probably come up with some interesting ones for you, as well), or just to make a new friend. One never knows--maybe we'll complement one another perfectly.

About me: I don't have a photo up, as you can, um...sort of see. *points to conspicuous lack of photo* This is because I'd rather not have my students (I'm teaching during my senior year of college) see their teacher in an, um, awkward situation. For those of you with good imaginations, I'm a curvy girl. Not fat, not thin, just busty. Think stereotypical tavern-wench archetype (and I do like to wear corsets. How cliche.) I have reddish-brown hair, and indeterminately pale eyes that switch from blue to misty grey to pale jade and back depending on the light.
To warn you doms who take yourselves seriously--I'm cheeky! If you seem to be taking yourself too seriously, I will start bantering and throwing in bad puns to liven things up. A smile and a spanking make the evening so much better. Bondage is my main thing. Spanking is also nice, and I adore knives. Whips are fun, blindfolds are great, and ropes are a delight. I'm especially interested in Japanese rope-work--if you know anything about it, please talk to me. I'd love to learn.

Side note: If I don't get back to you promptly, I apologize--this is the last semester of my senior year, so my thesis is eating me alive. That means I have to surrender to academia every now and again. (Curses.) I'm not ignoring you, just buried under paperwork.
